“Fixed a problem I had for three years in an hour! I am a full time RVer and when I bought my RV my kitchen slide leaked. The water would pool underneath the slide and it left a really nice wet spot right where you stand to cook. I also had a few other leaks that I could never figure out how to fix, even having THREE other maintenance companies look at it. Not only did they fix it in an hour, but it was fairly affordable. As a woman whose husband works a lot during the day, I was worried about inviting anyone into my RV due to prior experiences with unsavory drive to you repair men (I won’t name drop, but if you live in this area you probably know the guy I’m talking about). The staff for Blue Lake are courteous, friendly, and not creepy in the slightest. I’ve used this company on three separate occasions and each time, the service was quality, the technician friendly, and the repairs long lasting. They show up at the time they say they will (not typical of most RV repair places), everyone who works here is friendly, and the peace of mind priceless!”

There is a bar in the building also with a decent atmosphere. There is a hotel attached with access to the truck stop via a hallway. I did see some sketchy people on my first stop here. Overall, a typical truck stop in my opinion!”

“Very happy boater! When it came time to lift our boat out of the water for the first time we were faced with finding a yard we felt would do a good job for our needs. From the beginning Maltnomah Yacht Repair was professional and responsive to our needs. At our first meeting the owner Joe took the time to sit with me, listen to my unique needs and formulate a plan that would work in our budget, timeframe and expectations. After the meeting they prepared a detailed formal quote outlining price and scope of work to be done which really helped set a roadmap from start to finish. Once the work started the yard manager Brian took over. Upon dropping off the boat we meet and went over my expectations. This is KEY, Brian is not a mind reader so the better you communicate your expectations, the better he can do his job! Brian kept me well informed though the 4 week process and even followed up a few weeks after it was back in the water to make sure I was happy. We used a spectrum of services from their team (bottom coat, new stern thruster installation, new seacock valves, new anchor chain, fiberglass and gel coat repairs) and were happy with all. I found their prices on parts to be competitive with most online markets. In the end they were on time, on budget and good people to work with.”

They found the brakes were needing to be replaced and found a hose that was damaged. The repairs were completed timely and my truck runs like a champ once again. “Okay pros and cons here. Changed my review from 1 star up to 4, because they (finally) did deliver a nice axle that is not very common. Pros: they got me a hard-to-find 14 bolt 6 lug axle with a factory locker. Cons: I had to hound them for a few weeks because the axle they initially promised me had a problem so they didn't ship it to this location, but nobody ordered a replacement axle. I was on the edge of asking for my money back when they express shipped the right one. Summary: they're decent people and have a solid selection of parts, but they're really under-staffed so I had to bug them a fair amount to make sure my order went through.”
