“I have had numerous spiritual affirmations that God has a passionate love for the LGBTQ community. He knows many of them have been deeply hurt by our well meaning brothers and sisters in Christ. I am excited because God led me to this church, I wasn’t searching for it. He directed me. I had been praying that He would place me with the right church. One that that can help me grow, while I help it grow. So on Facebook I liked a group called LGBTQ Christians. Someone posted a video on their group page. The pastor was talking about the marginalized and the LGBTQ community. I liked her message so well I listen to another, everything was scripture-based. Everything she said spoke directly to me. So I listen to another one of her sermons. (They post her sermons on YouTube). And then she mentioned in her sermon Beaverton, Oregon. I was shocked because I only live 6 miles away. Could this be the church God wants me to go to? I’m new to this church and they’re very welcoming. Again, I am astonished by the wisdom in this church’s teaching. All scripture-based. All reaffirming the gospel and God‘s infinite grace.”
