“My daughter loves coming - there's lots of cool stuff to look at in the microscopes, they have a book corner, a little shop, and there's treasure hunt pamphlets and information inside. The staff are always friendly and helpful.”

“There are so many parks in the Portland area, do not overlook this gem! A gorgeous walk or easy jog, dense biodiversity, lots of cool events. One of my favorite places. It takes me about 30 minutes to jog the perimeter of the park, more if I stop for pictures or just to admire the views. ***The signs are a little confusing for me to read! Definitely snap a pic of the trail routes before you head in****”

“Forge Park is accessed off 112th Avenue by parking on 112th and walking across the wooden bridge over Cedar Hills Blvd., which is a fun thing in itself! It's a smallish neighborhood park, with fun equipment for the younger set and with picnic tables nearby. There is also a large grassy area where dogs often play catch with their families; where families play games or run, or just sit in the sun. The playground and grassy area are circled by a wide sidewalk where children can ride their bikes and scooters and adults can walk and run laps. This whole area is surrounded by trees as seen above. The park can connect you to the Cedar Mill Trail via a rough downhill trail (not recommended for young children) that takes you to a wetlands area at the end of 114th Ave. A sign at the end of 114th Avenue has a map of the rest of the trail.”

“Mount Williams Park is a wonderful park on the west side of Beaverton with access from the Westside Regional Trail. It offers a great incline to help add a little burn to a hike, bike ride, or jog. There are also some excellent views from the high points and multiple trails to create extended loops and to visit other parks. Great area for an outing!”

“Really nice park. It has a loop path, large playground, 2 gazebos, basketball hoops, skate park, 2 porta potties and a dog park, and it has a large flat grass field. It's really well maintained too.”

“Beautiful wooded park with a lot of nice hiking trails. It's just minutes away and feels like you've driven to the middle of nowhere. Don't let the tiny parking lot fool you...the park is bigger than it looks from the street. The main trails are paved and there are some unpaved trails that take you through more of the park. Great place to walk your dog. People like to hide painted rocks in this park so keep a lookout and you might find a small piece of art to take home with you!”

“Small little park with covered picnic tables, tennis courts, a playground area and a paved loop except for a section of a plastic type pathway, when it rains or has standing water the water will shoot up through holes in the plastic and spray you. Other than that small complaint it's a quaint park.”

“We love this place! So many fields and no one was out there. Kids were able to run around at the playground and people are really far away and not having to worry much with the COVID and mask situation. A lot of parking and easy walk to any of the spots. Very clean and friendly people.. I say mask wearers were 51% here and you don't really get the dirty look. If you here for sports, masks make it difficult. But if you are a a field with no one around, no worries for anyone. Kids got to practice batting a bit and played at the playground, will return for sure.”
