“We have been loving Tualatin Valley Academy. Our 2 kids both started in the public school system. By the end of 1st grade, with our first child, we decided to transfer him to TVA. It was a great decision for us, as a Christian family. We saw it's benefits beyond just education, our son was happy and blossomed. The teachers are exceptional and go above and beyond (far beyond what they are paid for)...which became even more evident during Covid. Paying for private school is a challenge, no denying it, sometimes painful on the budget BUT...we have found it well worth the cost. We decided to transfer our daughter, after she completed 1st grade at public school, as well. Last year was her first year at TVA. Even with dealing with Covid and all it's hoops and limitations, it did not disappoint and she too loved being in the christian environment and flourished. We are now committed to christian education and will make whatever sacrifices we can to keep our kids here at TVA, our neighborhood christian school. We would encourage any family considering it to go have a talk with the school and try it out. Don't judge a book by its cover. 😉”

“Over the past eight years our family has had students in either the elementary, junior high or high school at Faith Bible. The thing I appreciate most is that I perceive the goal of the school to be more than just academic success. Rather, Faith Bible seeks to produce responsible adults who are well grounded academically, spiritually and socially. Certainly academics are important and teachers are willing to go the extra mile to help students succeed but Faith also offers and encourages a wide variety of activities that contribute to school being a good experience. Whether it be drama, choir, home economics, woodworking, sports or the opportunity to be mentored by a professional in the field of the student's choice, there are many options for fun, learning and individual development. I have and will continue to recommend Faith Bible as a great option to consider for preschool through high school students.”

“I attended when I was a kid. I realize now that my academic success was due in part to my start at Eastwood Elementary. I also have fond memories. Mr. Close was a great principal, and had his jar of Smarties he would give to kids. Fun activies, like the time I won the paper airplane contest. Playing wall ball. Painting a picture of the American flag in kindergarten. It was a fun and educational environment that gave me a great start in life.”

“My son attends McKinney and he ABSOLUTELY loves his school. My husband and I think its a great school for him. He always comes home so positive. I noticed the staff is big on students and pay attention to every detail of younger ones. Aside of a few rocky days for my son overall the staff has been great. The principal, bus driver and teachers were on top of it when my little was being bullied by a group of older boys but it came to a end quick. Its a great place for kiddos i feel comfortable sending my son there without a doubt Thank you.”

“Hillsboro High School was a valuable part of my education. I attended all of my High School years at Hilhi and was greatly impressed by the teachers and their commitment to education. At Hilhi you can get all of the basic educational needs and requirements, but if you want, you can do more. They have great elective classes and plenty of opportunities to learn more then just the basics. I would definitely send my kids here if I lived in the area.”

“Long history as one of the most solid High Schools in the Region. Well located and easy to access . Built in the early 1980s so not as fancy as the big modern mega schools but Glencoe boasts a productive history of academic excellence and athletic achievement. Our Co-Owner Kirra Krussman and her husband Seth both are Crimson Tide grads! Roll Tide!”

“I have two children at the KLA of Hillsboro. We've only been going here since the school opened in March, but we couldn't be happier. The staff is wonderful. Our children love their teachers and the reggio amelia method really has sparked their love of learning which was our exact hope. The school and grounds are also gorgeous and the food is well balanced. But most of all, KLA of Hillsboro is a real community where a parent can feel like they're part of their kids' education and weekday life. I couldn't recommend this fabulous KLA school more.”

“It's a good school for you if you want a rigorous program and need the challenge or you like being at a small school. The SST program offers AP programs, but to a degree lacks variety due to the small school setting. Otherwise I'm glad I went there and wouldn't have gone to any other high school.”

“I would highly recommend Luiza. My son, age 11, has studied under Luiza for 2 years now and he has blossomed under her kind but strict tutelage. She has high expectations for her students and her knowledge and training are impressive. She is very supportive and encouraging and works with him to make sure he understands the theory and musicality of the pieces. She prepared him so well that,he passed his first syllabus test (level 2) with glowing reviews.”
