Charged me $11 and said it's unrepairable and the tire has to be replaced and gave me a quote for $550 for 2 front tires. Took it to Les Schwab and they fixed it just in 10 mins that too free of cost and told me that it was very much repairable. Loved the service here in the Hillsboro branch.”

“Ting (the one man band of Good News Auto) is an exceptional mechanic and a very conscientious human being. I can't actually fathom how he runs the entire business by himself, but this is clearly his passion. A very big deal: Ting voluntarily saves the old parts he replaces on your vehicle as standard ops and takes time to show you how and where they failed. This policy of customer education is one facet of the uncommon integrity he brings to every aspect of his business. He clearly enjoys helping people. Ting has won my customer loyalty in one single visit because of his honesty and strong communication skills. And whereas many other automotive shops will recommend / prescribe replacing parts and fixing things that have not yet become a priority, leaving the customer to either overpay prematurely or build an ambivalent feeling of mistrust, Ting is transparent and especially mindful in his approach to guiding repairs. If something isn't yet a priority to be replaced, he will put that fix on your radar but will also provide an honest assessment of how much life it has left. “My engine light came on, on a Saturday 5:30 PM on my camper van, and we had a renter coming out of town the next day to take the van for the next two weeks for a road trip, but They didn’t reject us instead they were very nice and start doing diagnostics on the van right away. He is very knowledgeable and he took the time to explain everything and why we need to replace the parts. They are very honest and fair in the price. “I purchased a new tire for my new to me 2012 Sprinter due to an alignment issue from this store today. Unfortunately another customer backed into my van while the tech was pulling my van into the bay. While this is obviously a frustrating event it was out of their hands. I mostly dealt with Oliver (Senior Assistant Manager) and he was very apologetic and dealt with the situation tactfully. The tech, who unfortunately I can’t remember his name, was also extremely apologetic. I am yet to find out how corporate will deal with my repairs but as far as customer service goes for this branch I was impressed. My right rear door is bent (shifted upward) due to the other customer backing into the custom made bike rack that is mounted to that door and my van is custom painted in Toyota Army Green so it’s not such a simple fix. There is damage to the plastic bumper as well. I will update the review once the claim has been handled but the customer service of the team member should be recognized at this point. *Update: My experience with Fleet Response who handles all Discount Tire's claims was easy and efficient. I submitted a repair estimate from a local shop and my claim was quickly processed and approved. Thank you Discount Tire for taking a frustrating situation and making the best out of it. The level of customer service throughout the process was great and I'll continue to bring my vehicles here when I need tires!”

“I have a 1979 g10 Chevy Van. Finding parts are incredibly hard. Last month Andy repaired my headlight bezels that where badly damaged. The previous owner cut them and put a brush guard on. Since Andy did such a fantastic job. I had received in the mail taillight bezels which where badly bent. The guy who shipped them lied and said it must have happened during shipping. Andy from Springer Auto went to work and did an amazing job fixing them. I highly recommend using Springer Autobody.”

One of my lugs snapped while they were working on my truck and they were upfront about what happened, how it happened and what they intended to do to fix it. “The actual parts department at the dealership is great. Always very friendly and easy to work with. Only four stars because of the online ordering. I ordered a part, which was simple enough, a couple days later I got confirmation it had shipped, then nothing for 4 weeks. The confirmation email has a “customer service” phone number but when you call, it’s three different sales pitches (are you over 60? Are you on Medicare? Do you want roadside assistance? Press 1 now!) then hangs up on you. Also, no shipping tracking number or anything else. I called the dealership directly and it turns out my part I ordered is just sitting there waiting for me. Not sure how long it’s been sitting but at least I can go get it now.”
