“First time there (01/02) and we enjoyed it. Very nice, clean, spacious establishment. My husband had thee Italian dog and said it was one of the best he’s ever had! The drinks were great as well. “The best local food places in north plains and Hillsboro. The food is deliciously good, gives you a proper home made feels. Their shrimp taco is my fav or all. The lunch box comes with rice, beans and 2 tacos of your choice of meat. I had the Mongolian beef with fried rice, fried shrimp and sweet and sour chicken. Plus some egg flour soup. Everything was cooked just right and had tons flavor. It was also packaged up real well for my delivery I’d definitely will try this place again. Likely at the actual restaurant next time.”

“Went in only hearing bad, but was pleasantly surprised. The country omelet was well made. Great flavor and the gravy gave it a slight feel of nostalgia. The Benedict had perfectly poached eggs but both breakfasts felt a bit weird with a side of rosemary fries. Based on other reviews they have definitely improved since opening and might be worth a second try. That said there are some much better value breakfasts in town and would probably come hear most often for breakfast when other options are not available.”
