“Papa John's is probably my favorite of the fast food pizza chains, and this is a convenient location in the area. Ordering over the phone was a bit of an ordeal, especially since the person taking me order seemed to have a hard time understanding me and kept going around in circles for clarification. It was a ten-minute process for a couple of items, including holds. I'll probably just order online if I come back. Fortunately, the service was a lot better at the store, though not overly friendly, but best of all, my food was ready on time and I didn't need to wait very long. The food was fresh and tasted good, though the garlic knots were a bit greasier and more overcooked than usual.”

My fiancé and I were seated right away on Easter Sunday about 45 min before they closed at a cozy table outside with a view of the course and lots of fancy heaters around to keep us warm. Katie served us, she was attentive and kind. The kitchen seems on its game to the very last minute they’re open. Everything was cooked very well, delicious, and well-plated. We will be back for more of those crab cakes 🤤”

“I absolutely love this BK. Most of their employees are kind and helpful. There has only been 2 times my family and I have had an unpleasant experience. One was over the summer when we ordered three mini shakes. We don't have a vehicle so walked up to the drive thru and ordered. We were asked to wait by the front door. We waited for about 5 minutes while I could see our shakes sitting on the counter, melting. They finally brought them out to us and they were pretty much milk. I went back to the drive thru and complained and was told that's how they make all the mini shakes. Which I knew was a lie as we'd bought them before. The second time was we were overcharged by close to $0.90. Now, to some, that's not much money. But this is about the PRINCIPAL of what happened, not the amount. I brought it to their attention and n long story short, the manager said, "It's only 86 cents. Are you sure you want it?" The MANAGER said that!!! I was appalled! I don't care if it was a PENNY! If you overcharge someone you give them back their money WITH NO COMMENTS ABOUT THE AMOUNT! Shame on her! But! As I said, other than that, this BK is great. They are friendly and helpful and more often than not go out of their way for my children. Thank you!”

“Café Zamora is a Portland gem. Fantastic coffee available packaged or by the cup, Guatemalan tamales, and cool shop setup. The owner (Hector) is such a friendly guy who is always fun to talk to. They have a really great story and socially conscious business model. I recently bought some of their coffee as presents via their website and was amazed at how quickly and effectively it got delivered. “The lovely woman who waitresses here is so kind and compassionate. She really sets the tone for this place. We come back again and again for the great food, but also for the fantastic service and attitude of this one woman. I hope the owners appreciate her and compensate her accordingly. The vegetables are always fresh and perfectly cooked. The meat tastes to be of high quality and is consistently cooked to perfection. Even when I live in NE Portland, I would make the drive to West Linn just to eat this food. We look forward to being able to dine in house again soon. For now, we will continue to support this GREAT Chinese food with take out service.”
