“I was here last night with a friend of mine to celebrate my birthday. It was my friends first time at Benihana and it most definitely wont be the last. We had such a wonderful time. “We really love The Indian Kitchen. We don’t come here near enough. I would say we probably only come once every couple of months. We should come more. Probably the biggest reason to try this place is it is a local family serving fantastic Indian food. Tonight we had Garlic Naan - unleavened bread with fresh coriander and garlic. I like this simple bread to use as a spoon to shovel the tasty other dishes into my belly! I give it 4/5 stars. Jenn thought it needed a little salt and a tad thin 3/5 stars. Both entrees below came with a wonderfully floral Basmati rice. Chicken Korma - Tender pieces of chicken cooked with mild spices and almonds. We ordered it medium spicy. This has become my favorite dish here. If you aren’t a spicy lover, get it mild. We like our dishes pretty spicy and I think this would be pretty spicy for most people. We both agree that this is a 5/5 stars. This is a must try. Lamb Vindaloo - Tender pieces of lamb cooked with hot Madras spices. We ordered this medium spicy as well. Don’t let the term “hot Madras” fool you. It isn’t spicy like it’s Americans are used to. It is more of a warming spice. Jenn liked this but felt the spices over powered the lamb. She gives it 4/5 stars. I would agree with 4/5. Kheer- Indian rice pudding cooked with milk and sugar. This was a nice round out to a wonderful meal. There was also cashews, raisins, and maybe cardamom. It was light and refreshing after a full meal. Jenn thought it was 4/5 stars. In my opinion it was just ok. I have a texture thing so not as much my favorite. It was prepared well so my lower score shouldn’t reflect on the dish itself. 3/5 Overall try this little place slice of Heaven in Wilsonville.”

“Both times me and the boys have been here. The customer service has been excellent. The first time we just wanted sweet bread. The waitress kindly insisted on us ordering from the menu. But we declined every time. The second time we visited; we ordered from the menu and the food was fresh and very well cooked. You pay at the end of your visit. The champurrados here are really good! Highly recommend trying them here if you like it thick. They do offer restrooms for both men and women in the back. All stalls have paper towels and cleans floors. God Bless”

The Wednesday special BBQ brisket sandwich is another stand out, the brisket is moist and melt in your mouth tender, however it could use a little more smoky flavor. Vegans.... save yourself a trip, even the potato salad oinks, this cafe specializes in meat, after all it is attached to an equally great meat market. If you are in a hurry, order ahead, especially during peak times, expect at least 15 minutes from the time you order and up to 30 minutes.”

This was a welcome feeling to walk in to such a small town saloon type brew pub that was hosting an unofficial High School reunion. The place was packed there was live music good food and apparently good drinks for I personally only had 2 but seemed like 4🙃. The gentleman behind the bar was as quite friendly even though he was slammed with a line at his bar for hours. Just a really good vibe here when speaking with a server who told me her regular shift was over hours ago but was staying to help out the bar and her co workers. People in this town are as friendly and down to earth. No politics here folks just a good old school Saloon type Pub.”

I love that they put in a bar which serves amazing delicious affordable drinks in authentic pottery bowls and cups. We were served tons of chips and salsa. The chips were warm and delicious I believe we at 3 baskets. When we sheepishly asked for more we were greeted with a smile and promptly served without hesitation. My husband ordered the El Toro Burger which he said was really juicy with tons of poblano peppers, jalapeños and cheese. I had the Del Toro Enchilada with cream sauce plater served with beans and rice. We both finished our meal leaving no leftovers. This is rare for me I usually only eat half. El Toro is a great addition to our little town. We will be regular customers.”
