“I had a stroke about 9 years ago, and take a medication that alleviates my dizziness. When I called the pharmacy this morning regarding that prescription I was told that it wasn’t in the system. Rod Mell called my doctors office, and asked them to send another copy of the drug electronically. I didn’t think that the prescription would be ready today, but not only did he fill my prescription immediately...he dropped it off at my house on his way home. I can’t say enough about the sensitivity and compassion of the pharmacy staff at this Giant Eagle. From the care and concern that they showed me today...to the empathy and understanding that I receive from the entire staff each time I go...this is a group of men and women who go above and beyond the call of duty for their customers. I take A LOT of medication because of the stroke as well as due to the heart stents I had put in about 10 months ago. While all of the medicine that I take is critical to my longevity...my quality of life was beginning to suffer. I was experiencing nausea everyday, and couldn’t do anything because I never knew when I might vomit. “Surprisingly impressed with this bakery! I never have high hopes for grocery store bakeries but the local one was closed so I had no choice. I got a cake with the satin icing and it was delicious and not too sweet. I'm not a cake person but even I liked it. Also super easy to order online and they got everything right!”
