We used Greater Pittsburgh Plumbing on a rec from my realtor, who is also a trusted friend from college.

Not only were they responsive and polite when setting up the appointment for an inspection, they made it happen quickly and without issue. I appreciated that so much as we are out of state, making everything a tad more difficult.

And then, when we discovered a massive issue at the house we planned to buy, we had to back out. Luckily, we found another house, and we called GPP again, and once more, they hooked us up with what we needed when we needed it. Great communication, good rates, honest and thorough feedback.

Greater Pittsburgh Plumbing performed all of the sewer camera tests during my home-buying process in summer of 2022.

The insights they provides were invaluable in making decisions through the long process.
In one house, their camera inspection found a nearly perfect Victorian-era sewer, attached to a very bad house.

In another, they discovered a huge collapse between the house and the street main. Their repair quote proved to be the most realistic of the nine quotes the seller solicited during negotiations. (the seller declined to address the situation and negotiations ultimately failed.)

At the third location, GPP's positive inspection, and quote for some medium-term work to be done soonish, were vital data that allowed me to close with great peace of mind.

They were professional, prompt, courteous, and knew old Pittsburgh plumbing like the back of their hand. They were happy to answer questions, and their narrated videos (and digital links) were helpful during subsequent negotiations.

Greater Pittsburgh Plumbing performed a camera test to ensure proper plumbing was in place. They were professional, timely, patient with all my questions and clean in the work they did. Their workfolk are honest, hard-working people who do a great job! I’ve been thoroughly impressed by their professionalism and honesty. They could have lied to me about my options when it came to replacing corroded lines, but they were super upfront and honest about costs of different materials and what my replacement timeline should look like. I’m beyond grateful for their hard work and honesty! On top of that, if there’s ever an issue with any work that they have done for us, they have always come back to fix it free-of-charge. 10/10 stars!
