“Absolutely brilliant work from Chief Ramsey (Fire Station #6) and Lieutenant Kuhn (Fire Station #4) on Oct 20th in rescuing a baby squirrel out of our wall on a Sunday evening. They were extremely patient and considerate of our home so as to not create too much damage, while also getting the animal out alive. There was no access point to the animal from a vent or the attic. It took over 30 mins of monitoring with a thermal scanner as well as listening to its movements, to determine the exact location. After confirming the location, they cut a small hole. Before we knew it, the squirrel jumped out onto Lieutenant Kuhn's shoulder and rushed out into the hallway ending up in another bedroom. From there, Chief Ramsey went in with a net and a cage and had the baby squirrel safe and sound, ready to be released into the wild! We truly appreciate your time and effort in helping us, protecting our home, and keeping the animal safe and sound! Garden City/ Monroeville are lucky to have a Chief like you!”

“Awesome place to bring the family for a fun time! It's affordable, clean, the lanes are well kept & the staff & owner are friendly & helpful. They have a digital scoring system with different themes & games. There is also a bar & a snack bar; their pizza is a large square shaped one, topped full of goey melty cheese & it's absolutely delicious! It was devoured before i could take pictures. On top of all this the owner is one of the sweetest most down to earth people I've ever met. When we have encountered a few hiccups here mostly to do with them being very busy & understaffed (who isn't these days) she has gone out of her way to make sure our issue was resolved & we were happy. We just had my daughter's 15th birthday party there during the cosmic bowling. I was able to make arrangements ahead of time to reserve a lane for us & the guy up front made it quick & easy. They had a DJ, we ordered a pizza & some pitchers of soda & bam instant party! The place was packed & jamming & despite running around everywhere the owner & staff kept everything together. Even understaffed they make a great team. I chatted with the owner a bit & she truly went out of her way to make my daughters birthday special &bthat she had everything she needed & even took a little of the load off of me. Our family can easily agree on an outing to Lokay it's one of our new favorite spots. I'm looking forward to our next trip & i just got home! Thank you!”

“My dog Wally had degenerative myelopathy. It's an incurable disease it gradually causes the dog to lose control of his body. Shortly after his diagnosis, I started doing twice a week and then three times a week therapy sessions with Nancy of Paws PT. While the physical therapy could not stop the progression of the disease, it may have slowed it, and it certainly helped Wally maintain strength and agility in the parts of his body that he still controlled. When he was diagnosed, he was only given two or three months to live. However, we were able to extend that for 27 months, including daily walks around our neighborhood, eventually with the aid of a wheelchair that Nancy helped us procure. In the end, Wally succumbed to an unrelated ailment. Wally and his support dog Casey loved going for physical therapy to Nancy's, and always wanted to stay longer. It was also very helpful for me. Degenerative myelopathy is a hard disease for the owner, because it's not easy to see your best friend slowly but surely deteriorate. Nancy's cheerful personality and helpfulness enabled me to maintain the right attitude so I could support Wally in his time of need. I couldn't recommend her more.”
