(August 6, 2019, 6:00 am)It is beautiful, serene, well manicured lawn. My family ate at a picnic area next to this spot for Sunday Dinner. The whole park is breathtaking. That was our first time there. Will definitely visit again.

(July 4, 2019, 7:45 pm)Attended a wedding and reception here. Very nice location. The wedding was held on the grounds while the chapel area was set up for a buffet-style reception. Plenty of seating for about 60+ people.

The restoration of the Riverview Park Chapel Shelter, now the most requested shelter in the city parks, was completed in June 2008. The building, which had been closed to the public and slated for demolition in 2005, was completely refurbished to make it accessible and enjoyable for park users.
