Duquesne Incline

Address: 1197 W Carson St, Pittsburgh, PA 15219, USA

Transit station

“Find time to do this historical landmark. Only takes about half hour round trip and costs $5 CASH per person There is a small observation area at the top for some scenic photos. Also a little museum in the station at the top. Not much of anything else at the top except a couple of small restaurants/cocktail bar. It's a shame that the restaurant next door to the incline is permanently closed. It had great views of the river and a friend said it was a nice spot for a meal.”

Transit station Car repair

“Nice people! I had a clipped mirror that needed to be replaced. I’m in the neighborhood, so I gave FPA a call. Bob was concerned that with the snow coming, it would take a while to get the part into the shop so he told me exactly where I could go pick up the part in the city myself (got it for $26 bucks, saving me a ton of money) and said to come buy the next day and he’d put it on for me. He had it done for me in under a half hour, and when I asked how much I owed, he said “Don’t worry about it, next time give me something hard to do!” Really appreciated the great service. Seems like I may have found my new mechanic!”
