The staff got to know him and found ways to engage him that suited his needs. Having spent a lifetime in the business community dad was quickly put to work helping with activities, keeping track of "paperwork", bottom line he was made to feel needed and competent. Every staff person called him by name, called members of our family by name and made us feel welcome anytime we walked through the doors. One of my fondest memories is when I had taken Dad out for the afternoon and brought him to my house and after a few hours, he asked me if I could take him home. Home was Arden Courts. As Dad's condition deteriorated Arden Courts communication and support was excellent. Our family will forever be grateful to Arden Courts.”
