Veterinary care

“I have gone to several vets. I know it sounds weird but I let my animal choose. Connar my goldendor was very picky he loved it at Banfield the staff and care he got there was excellent. They treated him like they would a member of their family. I did see the late Dr. Tartar I was afraid Connar would not like anyone else. However, the new vet they brought in Dr. Rachel Quagilozzi ( we call her Dr. Q) Connar loved her. She may be young but I dont see that as a down fall. I think its better they have seen more things that are out there. And they have other ways of finding out information. For example, Connar was going to bandfield for a while kept getting treated over and over for a sore on his foot for two years it would not go away only to come back. We tried several different drugs nothing worked. When we started to see Dr Q she came in got down on floor and greeted my pet she looked him over she asked about his paw and she said that she would like to get a xray to see further under skin. None of the other vets even thought to look at that. When she got results she asked if I would mind if she would consult other vets. I thought that was a good idea it's always better to get another person's view on something. It ended up being a mass that they thought would be a good idea to remove as it ended up it was an infection which ended up being MRSA. Connar lost his small toe because how bad it was. I'm glad she became part of the crew at Banfield I hate to think what would have happened if that was not caught. Not only did she catch that but she worked with me on several medication we could use. She also consulted other vets that had more experience on what was the best medication. And was within my price range. Alot of vets just say do this use this. But I like how Dr. Q. consulted others on what meds they have seen worked better. She was also there for the whole recovery process which was several months between bandages, ointments and several visits for check ups. She was also avaliable for any questions I had or concerns. You dont see that affection in alot of vets Dr. Q. showed she cared about the animal. Connar was always so happy going to the vet it was like visiting family. Everyone at the office is very professional, kind, they go above and beyond. They treat you like family. Connar was loved there by everyone. He past away at 11.5. When I brought him in you could tell it hit the whole staff. I had him cremated I had them cut a piece of his hair and they did a paw print his paw was so big it barely fit on the mold lol. When he was returned to me he was in a beautiful oak box with his name engraved on top. With a red velvet bag with gold letters with the rainbow bridge. A full copy of the poem as well as a death certificate. I'm so glad a took my animals there and still do . They have always made it a positive experience for me and my animals. And the pet plan is great unlimited office visits all shots and dental cleaning. If it was not for their plan I dont know how I would have been able to afford everything. Plus if you dont get a dental cleaning and you have to get surgery you can use the dental. I love this vet hospital as well as my vet Dr. Q I will not be going anywhere else. I just introduced my 10 week old Goldendor Logan to Dr. Q. Last week.”
