“I have never considered donating plasma until a close relative of mine was diagnosed with a medical condition in which is plasma is used for the treatment. Having someone close going through a medical situation prompts you to educate yourself on everything you can find relating to the situation. My findings? Plasma truly does save lives; And it is needed more than ever. With this knowledge, I located my nearest donation center- CSL Pittsburgh. All of the first time donor information on their website was easy to follow and made me feel more comfortable and confident about donating. I went to donate the following day and left happier than I was entering. I was greeted by friendliest staff and was walked through the entire process with a staff member by my side since it was my first donation. The initial screening is very thorough and takes a little time but it was reassuring to me to see how serious the staff follows guidelines and procedures, along with how skilled these professionals really are. With no prior knowledge of how their compensation worked for my plasma donation, I was amazed with how beneficial and rewarding donating with CSL really is. In additional to immediate [ GENEROUS ] payment, there is also a reward programs where you can earn even more money donating.
