(June 26, 2021, 1:59 pm)I had a fantastic experience traveling here and learning about the history! There were a good number of houses we were allowed to to into and explore, and it was really interesting to look into past that way!

(April 12, 2021, 11:00 am)I was born in yellow dog and I was in the orange 2 story house on the top of the hill. it is not forgotten, its just that people are moving out because of the mushroom mines was closed down or there was nothing left to mine for, or maybe there wasn't enough houses to build. although I moved into Worthington.
(March 7, 2021, 8:43 pm)Visited this beautiful abandoned village today! I got to explore the ins and outs of the homes that people just left behind. Everyone just picked up and left. It’s crazy what some people left behind. This was a super cool experience. I highly recommend if you are into this kind of stuff.
~ Joe, the owner was very nice, gave us a brief rundown of the history and then let us explore the homes on our own terms. I will most definitely be visiting again sometime soon. I wish the owners the best of luck with their goals for the village.
