“Great range owned by the Game Commission. You need to have either a hunting license or a range permit to shoot there.”

“Great trail. Great views. Worth the 9.6 hours hike. Trail is moderate to difficult depending on the path that you take. I started out hard by doing the hike counter clockwise. More uphill and you will get to the first outlook at Pulpit Rock first then to the pinnacle. Really give you some leg workout.”

“This is a great hill for trash trekking!! This place is not very hard to walk. You can park in the ground. You can walk up the hill and you can see great ground view!!! I love here!! It’s not steep slop so great for beginners. And when you get down you can use easy way to down!! Great to enjoy on weekends!!”

“Great place for mountain biking but definitely not beginner oriented. Trails are very well maintained and there is a great community is riders surrounding and supporting the place. Only downside is proximity to Reading, which makes it a hot spot for teenage weed smokers to rip on Honda civics... Kind of kills the nature vibe sometimes.”

“Beautiful place for talking a walk. Not too difficult, so you can enjoy the stream and the wildlife that is attracted to get a drink. Nice! (Spider was way down on the rocks besides rushing water. :))”

“This is a really fun area to go on a hike. There is a lot of hiking that can be done on the mountain here. Theres a lot of really old foundations and if you do some research you can find out a lot of history of that area of the county. Once hiking you will see views of areas that you might have never seen before. Very nice trails with a stream and little water ways. Well worth a stop”

“Our friends chose this campground and we just went along for the ride. What a pleasant surprise the campground was! The landscape is beautiful and the campground was clean and very well taken care of. The restrooms were clean and the cabin we stayed in was very nice (like a cute little house). We were able to rent a golf cart to ride around the campground. The store had last minute necessities. The field of rocks was just an awesome sight to see and the kids loved climbing them. There were plenty of activities for the kids throughout the day and we also visited Crystal Cave, about 15 minutes away. My family had such a great weekend and we can't wait to go back again soon.”

“Good facility for football organization. They support our youth football league. Decent football field. Concession stand during football game. Lots of parking. Gravel parking lot. Lot of bugs during warm weather due to location. Close to the river and wet lands. It hosts a nice Halloween hayride for the kids in October.”

“Nice place for the youth in the community to play football. Also has a couple baseball fields. It can get alot of bugs (gnats, etc...) due to its location near the schuylkill river. Bring bug spray just in case you hit one of those evenings where the bugs can get annoying. Nice to have a place like this in the township.”
