“Stayed overnight, has a fire pit, a picnic table, a toilet nearby, and a spring over the hill from the shelter. The shelter has a 2nd level to hold more people. There is space for 2 tents to set up on the side of the shelter also. Plus a person hung a hammock up from a tree to the shelter.”

“Also called the Shower steps. Nice trail and a great workout. I used to run this trail multiple times a week. It's about a half mile to the top with somewhere around a 600-800 ft climb in elevation. It's pretty mild for the first half and then turns into a very steep and rocky trail. Lots of steps are built in using rocks. It's worth it for the view at the top. Once you hit the top you can also head north on the AT about 2-2.5 miles for another overlook.”

“I have spent several weekend camping here with my 7 year old son, this is by far his favorite place to camp. We were just there for there Halloween weekend three and I have to say between the office staff and seasonal campers the experience could not be more enjoyable. Michelle in the office is great and very good with the campers and helping them. The seasonal campers go above and beyond to make the weekend great for the kids. I cant say enough good things about this place.”
