“One of the best times I've had in a long time. I'm an avid aviation enthusiast and was an entertaining and informative afternoon. Pilots were top notch and walking around those hangers gave you an old timey feel. Will join next time I go up. Only forty minutes from Reading.”

“The Place was different and it was really amazing the work that was put into the exhibit! They have a Scavenger hunt that they give You that brings you further into the exhibit rather than just walk around it and look at it.”

“For only being open since September 2017, this place has a lot to look at and learn about and are not done with. They have a large selection of horse drawn wagons and other items to check out. They are also planning on opening up 2 more buildings to give the proper room they need for their wagon collection and other things that they have. The woman who runs the place is very friendly and helpful and can explain what they have in their museum. You can have a guided tour or explore the museum on your own.”

“This is a community park not a museum. Google Maps does not have a scroll down for parks, rail trails, ect. Stupid. Well anyway, Tilden Township park is a small park with limited parking but offering wonderful views of the Schuylkill River and the Route 61 bridge. There are benches placed along the river so one can sit and reflect or gather thoughts. Park hours are from seven in the morning to nine in the evening. There is a sign posting all the rules. I've included that picture in my review. The park seems to be well maintained. The grass cutting crew was leaving just as I arrived. You can probably have a riverside picnic just as long as you clean up after yourselves. Come and enjoy.”

“Very nice facility. Guided tour of numerous trains in yard. Christmas model train display was outstanding! Toy train layout and coloring available for young children.”

“I would recommend this tour to everyone. The ingenuity of people is remarkable. While the history portion is very interesting and the guides were very informative, as a teacher, the critical thinking and problem solving skills of the Gruber family has me amazed. Taking this tour is a step back in time, not only because of the equipment and restoration, but also because of the detail. Boxes of screws used in the process are still on shelves on the walls.”

“You must visit this place. They have a lot of items to view. More historical military items are always being added. The curators are very friendly and helpful. They are currently open from 11am to 1pm on Saturdays. They do not charge but a donation would be very nice. I really enjoyed this hidden gem in MOHNTON PA.”

“This was under a blanket of snow, which adds to the ambiance of the station and trains. Took some good shots of the area. Will come back to enjoy a ride on the rails, they have some seasonal ones available, so we plan on taking advantage of them”

“My family and I had a great time at crystal cave. It hasn’t changed since I was there years and years ago. The tour guide was very nice and animated, making the experience pleasant. They have a ton of trinkets in their gift shops. The ice cream is a nice touch as well if you are looking for a special treat. I probably won’t come back again for a long time but it was a great day.”

“This place is probably one of the most underrated and unknown gems in our area. Perhaps I’m biased because I got my minor in Pennsylvania German Studies here, but it really is a one-of-a-kind place. This museum is so important because the Pennsylvania German culture is waning but guys like Patrick Donmoyer just might be the new generation to bring back awareness of our culture.”
