“Very nice hike. Bit damp and muddy at bottom. Started at end of road gate by campgrounds and was approx 5.5 miles. Hunting is allowed on part of trail but saw no one. Mostly oak forest , no wildlife.”

“This is a very big park, plenty of trails to hike. Also, it's pretty quiet here in the summer. Even when all of the campsites are filled, there is not much noise.”

“This was not my ideal RV park. Very small spots. Had trouble swinging a 31 foot Class A into our spot. It was nice having full hookup. They do have a miniature golf course (9 holes), lots of weekend activities, and a small playground. It was small and crammed for the way our family is used to camping. The reason for the 5 star is because I dont think it is fair to review based on personal taste. The staff was super friendly and helpful. The park was very well maintained. The camping atmosphere was terrific.”

“My go to hike spot! I live not far from here and I tend to take my dog here every so often and do a lap around the park. The view from the top is nice, and the hike around can take a hour, and longer if you take another path around. Always suggest this one to friends since it’s local and always clean”

“Attended the beautiful Christmas tree lighting event sponsored by the Daniel Boone Optimist Club. Community organizations provided free popcorn, cookies and hot chocolate. The chorus, solos and DJ James provided wonderful music all through the evening.”

“Ganshahawny park is very useful. Unloading (a boat ) or loading is very easy when water level is high. People's using the park are friendly. The Ganshahawny park should be enjoyed by all. SOON!”
