“We had a really great experience with our stay here. We did not plan on stopping here, but we had camper trouble that needed work done. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful from right when we arrived until we left. When we pulled up, they guided us to our spot and helped us back in (as a new-RVer this was especially helpful). When the repairs on our camper took longer than expected, they let us extend our stay even though they were fully booked. They have a great community and have all kinds of family-oriented events. We happened to be there for their Christmas in July event that featured a camper decorating contest and Santa giving gifts to kids. We weren't planning on participating, but the staff encouraged us to and even gave us a gift to give our daughter. It is a family oriented campground full of great people. We didn't originally plan to stop here, but we are glad we found this hidden gem!”

“This is only the third time I've ever been to a skatepark and this is only the third skate park I've ever been to but I would say it's about a four saying that the skate park canalwood city is about at 2:00 and the skate park that I went to in Columbus Ohio Dodge skatepark is very historic but I don't so say it's about a 4.5 so this is a pretty good skate park in Butler even though there's no bowl. It's an East Coast skatepark it's not just like 3 acres of concrete like I see in Arizona and Oregon and California. But it's not completely a DIY skate park either there are some diy things that I think there's a DIY ramp somebody must have just brought there and put it right up against one of the quarter pipes anyway I don't even skate I write a BMX and it's not a specifically a park BMX either it's a 22 in BMX for trails and jumps but this is a cool little Park here and I think I'll come back”

“Nice campground with friendly workers that were so nice to help us out with a spot for the night while we were having truck problems. They were nice and waited for us to arrive later in the evening. Thank you for being so kind! They set us up with an easy pull through site. There are some nice nature trails there but we didnt have much time to check them out. I cant really say too much about the campground because we were only there one night. Thank you for a nice place to stay during a stressful situation!!”

“Wonderful little park extremely handicap friendly. Wheelchairs and other challenging handicaps will feel very comfortable here. You can tell they really upkeep the park as they are constantly replacing mult and watering the flowers. The jungle gyms and swings are all very clean and freshly painted. The pool is extremely clean with lots of awesome features. Definitely worth a visit here. The skate park is super cool as well. ADA friendly. Absolutely no smoking. Park hours are pictured.”

“Very nice lay of land here. I wasn't really here to play in a park or whatever is here. I came here to explore the land, wildlife, and what is growing and crawling around our here. I have been exploring many plots of land in my free time lately. Just happen to come across this the other day a few hours before I had to be at work. I have found a lot of different things out about the land around here lately and this was a very nice particular spot for my hobbies and research. I didn't get to explore all the woods yet but I am planning on coming back, will give a full update and pictures of everything found when I am done. But like I said I will be back here in a couple days with some more time on my hands. So I hope these woods are ready for me and my machete lol very highly recommend if you like exploring the woodlands.”

“My daughter loves the preschool programs they host. Each class consists of a hike and a nature craft. She loves exploring the grounds and learning about native plants. The craft this week was a turkey call. She has used it non-stop and has been avidly trying to summon all the turkeys to our backyard. Thanks for an informative, engaging class!”

“This park is great. It is always well-kept, clean and calm. Also, they have an area for tons of sports, from the usual baseball and football fields and a rollerblading-hockey rink, and even pickleball. And, for your little kids, I'm their impressive playground they have a PIRATE SHIP. I don't know about you, but I would have LOVED that as a kid, imagining I was Peter Pan fighting Captain Hook. Overall, this is an awesome park. Don't hesitate to go!”

“Excellent community park that has it all. One mile trail for jogging, soccer fields, shelters, community pool, baseball field, and one of the most challenging and scenic disc golf courses in the state.”

“This is a gem. It is a true nature trail; which requires fording streams, stepping over fallen trees and going around occasionally muddy patches in the trail. Although the latter should be minimal in the summer months. The loop around the perimeter of the property is a nice walk and sections remind me of the hemlock strewn ravines of the Allegheny National Forest. The several trails are well marked. For anybody that frequents the trails of the northern Allegheny County Parks system, try this Reserve for a hike. You will be treated to a quiet serene walk without bicyclists approaching behind you. A lot of bird watching groups frequent the property and when I see them I find myself looking up in the trees to see what they see.”
