“Produces a very nice lifelike mount at a very affordable price! I will definitely go back and I will definitely refer my family and friends. The wait on a whitetail deer and a rainbow trout was about 6 months for me. If you get a chance, check out their website. Lots of great info, pics and client reviews. Thanks Again Mountain River Taxidermy!”

“The first thing I noticed is how friendly she was. The room we stayed in was very clean. The blueberry cake was so good. The whole experience was excellent. I would highly recommend staying there. Thank you for a great time, Craig and Maureen Ramage”

“I wanted to write this review because we were almost scared away from this trail by other reviews. Luckily we tried it and are so thankful we did. Listen, this trail can be very challenging at times. I consider myself in good shape but by no means an "experienced" hiker. We went on a rainy day with wet leaves on the ground. All I had was a pair of newer sneakers, jeans and a t-shirt. Yes, you will need to be very careful at some points and may need to use your hands to climb both up and down rocks. And yes it can certainly be very slippery and unforgiving if you do not pay attention. But no, you do not need to be an experienced hiker with fancy hiking boots. So use common sense, be careful and enjoy these amazing falls. As for how to get there: Drive all the way to the furthest parking lot in the D&L parking area. Walk down the stairs to the first warning sign, make a right go under the train tracks then another right up the trail next to the tracks. Follow this trail around until you reach a sign for the falls. Then go left( someone drew an arrow on the sign). Once you reach the water just follow it upwards, that simple. Note we turned around at the falls and exited how we came. Tip: if you reach a really steep part look closer to the water line there may be an easier (although still steep) way up. It took about 2 hours to the falls and back, going very slowly. Good luck!”

“Very nice and cozy spot to order food and/or drinks. Staff is very friendly, and eager to make great recommendations on several of their creative and tasty cocktails. Food menu is interesting, with a mix of American and Irish style meals. Very good bar food. They also offer salads and some healthier options. The beer menu is decent as well, offering several styles of beer by local Brewers. Setting is mildly romantic, which is interesting as the restaurant has taken up residence in an old firehouse. They offer outdoor seating with a couple fire pits which is nice.”

“When they say that they will make your food the way you want it they mean exactly what they say. Costumers are first. Place is so clean and service is always with a smile. The amount of food you get is great for the price you pay. We recommend that people get in there and try it out.”

“This is an Annex to the Inn at Jim Thorpe. They own this building as well as 55 Broadway. Like the Inn, very clean and spacious rooms. This facility has garage parking but no restaurant or bar like the Inn has”

“We had the most wonderful weekend at the Times House. The suite we stayed in was cozy and beautiful with fresh flowers and an electric fireplace, and very quiet. We couldn't hear any other guests or outside noise, yet we were able to walk to many restaurants and bars. Diane and Chris were very kind, and their homemade bread, scones, yogurt, and granola for breakfast were delicious. Additionally, my fiance and I got engaged the weekend we stayed there, and Chris and Diane helped him orchestrate the surprise. I would highly recommend a stay at the Times House!”

“Very helpful, friendly goes out of his way to help. Is the type that even if he can't help for any number of reasons, he gives advice on what to do. Not the type of lawyer who is just there to see how much money he can make from you, but one who truly cares about his clients. I would highly recommend him and also would use in future if need be.”
