This place is GREAT! It's hard to find a place to reupholster old furniture these days. This place is locally owned and operated. Very friendly and helpful! I had my dining room chairs and the top of a storage chest redone. High quality workmanship!
Have used Gfell Upholstery several times over the past 10 years. He does excellent leather work (not everyone does) and his upholstery work is also exceptional. His prices are reasonable and his materials and craftsmanship are top notch.
I have used Gfell Upholstery for six pieces of furniture in my home and 1 piece for the store I manage. I have always been completely satisfied with the work they perform. I've had 2 sofas reupholstered twice, about 15 years apart due to the wear and tear of kids and dogs. I read one review from a disgruntled customer and I could not disagree more. After many service transactions spanning years, I highly recommend them.
I have had good experiences here. In my opinion his prices were reasonable and actually below what I had expected to pay - it all depends on the job to be done. When I drop things off he asks when I need it by. If I tell him I need it quickly he gets it done. When I tell him I'm not in any hurry and it doesn't matter, it gets forgotten until I remind him. It's a very small business and worth supporting. I like going there because it looks and feels reminiscent of times when shops like this were how we did business
