My first session with Mary was incredibly productive. I came away from it with a plan to tackle the issue I discussed with her and a new set of tools to work through things. She is professional, empathetic and I especially appreciated her goal-oriented approach. Early in our session she mapped out the structure of her coaching which was particularly helpful for my understanding of her methods.

I have always been a "people pleaser", feeling I needed to subjugate my own needs to the needs of others. Talking to Mary helped me to realize this, and to begin working in very specific ways to overcome what is for me toxic behavior. With her guidance, I have begun to voice my needs to others in a clear way, and to allow myself to take time for my own self care without feeling guilty. Quite a change!
This has been a very enlightening process indeed.

As a 71-year-old who has lost some friends and family, I discussed with Mary a common dilemma in my age group, how you make new friends and step outside your habitual reactions. She offered some great tools to work with, and in a very gentle way used my own words to share insights into my situation.
