  We've been there many times over the years. It is a very nice, almost sedate setting in a large inn built in 1736. The food is great. The portions are oversize, especially their prime rib. It's a place where background music is soft, the light is soft, the service is very good... friendly. If want a nice place to have dinner for two or a group, this is a very good choice.

  Was here for Sunday brunch for my granny's 80th. Food was great, staff was friendly and kind. I would have preferred more light as it was really dim. The food is pricey, but portioned accordingly. I would have liked more lighting, as it was very dim. Overall we had a great time!

  Went here a few nights ago and loved it. Not only is the place really nice, it gives you a really relaxing feeling as soon as you walk in. The food was AMAZING. I ordered prime rib and it was so worth it. Our waitress Pam was incredibly nice and helpful. Would definitely take the drive to go again!

  Great last minute decision for dinner. We relaxed at the bar, and had a great dinner. The Prime Rib was massive, but made great sandwiches for the weekend!

  This is definitely an old fashioned type of steakhouse, but in a great way. All of the food was delicious, and the portion sizes were enormous (come hungry!). I had the house special prime rib, and it was the largest cut of meat I've ever been served in a restaurant. It's not inexpensive, but what you get is worth the price.
