“This park has great potential and was probably great a few years ago but need love and attention now. This park is located behind West Bradford Elementary School. The park has a very nice paved loop trail that is about 0.6 miles long. It also is paved to the Kiosk down to the parking lot and around the back of the pond adding almost 0.3 more miles. Bikes are permitted on the paved trail. The park is open sun rise to sun set but the gate is not locked until 9:30. The park contains a large playground that has peeling paint and a small playground that needs weeding and another playground area that is still flooded two days after the last rain. There are two volleyball courts but one is completely overgrown and missing the net. The tennis courts and inline hockey court look great but they are locked and require buying a key to have access According to West Bradford's website tennis and hockey court keys are $20.00 for residents, and $35.00 for non-residents. Bathrooms are available. The park has many benches along the paved path, as wells as several picnic tables scattered throughout the park and four picnic pavilions. The park has a great number of bird houses throughout the park. While the park is boarders woods on most sides it has lots of open space. If you have kids and are visiting long after school ends or on the weekend you may decide to bring them to the top notch playground behind the school. This park connects by trail to Beacon Hill Park where you will finds Softball and Baseball Fields.”

This 64 acre park has a memorial garden, 4 picnic pavilions, 4 softball/baseball fields and several multi use fields (soccer/lacrosse) two separate playground areas (one for tots and the other for bigger kids) swings, tennis courts, bathrooms, snack bar, ample parking and port-a-potties scattered about.”

“Great park. Lots of things to do and activities.”

“It great we have the baseball fields. The reason for the 4 stars and not 5, is because of the condition. Grass is a little long and field not as well kept. But that may be the town's responsibility. Also the excessive rain this summer has been really hard to keep any grass at a reasonable length.”

“Mild difficulty hiking trails located in a quaint P.A. village. Rocky and fun to hop from boulder to boulder in the area near the rushing creek. The longer about 2 mile trail travels near state game lands and can get flooded. Great place for the family for a few hours. Be sure to visit the bakery, ice cream shop, arcade or winery when the village. Warning: Lots of graffiti on the trail rocks however most of it is tasteful and artistic in my opinion. Personally, I enjoy it.”

“The Struble Trail is a great place to go if you want to ride your bike, go for a walk, go for a jog, take your dog for a walk, take your baby for a walk in the stroller, hop skip or jump, :-) Etc. It is a paved trail about two to two-and-a-half miles long that is about 12 feet across, and it runs right along side of the Brandywine River. It is for the most part a trail that goes through the woods so it's very picturesque, and there are lots of nice views of the woods and of the water, as well as wildlife that you see in and around the water. One time I was walking the trail, and I saw a bald eagle cruising right above the water of the Brandywine Creek about 20 feet up, and he was scanning side to side looking for an animal that had come down to the water for a drink. I imagine if that animal was small, that it would have been dinner for that bald eagle. It was a majestic sight, and I really wish I had it on video. This Trail is open all year round, so you can do your exercise, go for a walk or whatever you want to do there pretty much anytime except when it's dark out of course.”

“Really nice place for running/walking/birdwatching/or whatever else you can legally do in a private nature preserve. Well kept trails both through grassy open fields and forests of pine, oak, maple, birch, and other flora.nice parking place and benches with small shelters scattered around the preserve for resting or getting out of any unexpected weather. There’s a fire pit and little camp ground in a nice open field with little open sided roofed shelters with picnic tables under them but I don’t think it’s a public camp ground so you’d gave to schedule a private camping group or go with one of the regular camping programs held there multiple times a year. It’s a private property so you should only be there if you have permission, are attending a guided educational thing, or if your camping as I mentioned before. Defiantly check out the website for more details and/ or contact the preserve with any questions.”

“Great state park. Clean and well maintained. There are lots of activities you can do at this park. I do wish the bathrooms stayed open year round. They have a port a potty for late fall/winter seasons. Nice trail, picnic areas, fishing areas.”

“A 13+ acre park in Downtown Borough along the east branch of the Brandywine Creek. The park provides soccer fields and has a ton of soccer nets. It has a picnic pavilion and the Dave Hatt Pavillion, two Port-a-Pottys, a basketball court, two swings, a playground and a walking path. The walking path does a loop and also connects by a path to the Milltown bridge behind the Dowiningtown Borough Police Department over the Brandywine Creek to the path to Kerr Park. The path also has a learning section with things like hop scotch. Distance markers would be a nice addition to the park.”

“This is a great place to visit for several different types of activities.. This is a very popular insert point for canoers and kayakers who will go Downstream many miles to their pickup point. There are hundreds of acres here, so it's a great place to walk your dog, go for a walk, go for a jog, and there is even a historic graveyard on the property that used to belong to a mental institution that was in Chester County near by many, many, many years ago. from my recollection it was probably the early 1900s where the mental institution would take their deceased patients to rest. it's a very peaceful place, and a nice place to visit if you have the time.”

“Best campground we have stayed at by far. The owner and employees go out of there way to accommodate. Very clean and quiet campground.. I would recommend this campground to everyone it’s definitely a five star. Beautiful cabins, and kayaking on the Brandywine to the huge pool. Can’t forget the Saturday night ice cream social. Thanks again.”

“Nice park with walking trail and a creek that runs thru. People are kind and it's quiet. There isn't a lot of parking so you need to be prepared for this. Also, not a lot of bathroom options either.”
