“I am a huge fan of this trail (and so is my dog). I like to bring all sorts of people here because of the diverse difficulty options; there's a path for everyone! Trails are well blazed for the most part. The only difficulty (which might actually be a good thing as it prevents overcrowding) is that parking is extremely limited, and SUVs with bike racks make it even more difficult to squeeze into a spot. Because of this I tend not to come out on sunny, summer, weekend days.”

“The main park is located at 477 Grove Road and has a bunch of playground equipment, a softball field, a soccer/lacrosse field, trails that includes exercise equipment. The trail connects to the Pocopson walking trail which connects uo to the Pocopson park on 575 South Wawaset Road (has historic Barnard House an early 1800s stone house and stop on the underground railroad) And if you run the offshoot trail it connects to the Pocopson park across from the prison at 520 South Wawaset Road. This park could use maintenance on the swingset area. This park has swings, tennis and basketball courts.”

“Very beautiful and clean. Trails are not clearly defined but a map is provided by the visitor's pavilion. Lots of neat native plant species and wildlife. It has a beautiful pond. Pet friendly but bring bags because the park does not provide trash cans. Nice place to picnic and hike.”

“One of my favorite hiking areas! Nice trails and open to mountain bikes. The orange red loop is nice for a good hike to make you sweat a little.”

“Always a great place to visit during your trip to longwood gardens. The Italian Water Garden has the nicest groomed grass I have ever seen. Amazing water features and I gear place to take a couple of pictures with or with out the family. A very peaceful place to stop, catch your breath and just enjoy the moment.”

“Well done with greeting areas for new dogs before entering. Two separate areas, plenty of parking, and a small free standing book exchange. Clean and well kept. Beautiful trails to walk as well.”

“Great local dairy to get your milk, produce and ice cream”

“Stopped here today, March 21st, 2018 to get a few shots of the creek and the trees amongst the massive amount of snow that is coming down as I speak. Most people come here to fish during the warmer months of the year, because this particular Creek is stocked with trout several times a year. I knew this would be a great place to get a few shots of the winter wonderland that it is right now. This is a rather small Park, but it's a great place to bring young children if you want to teach them about the environment. But do keep a close eye on your children because there is a stream that runs the perimeter of the park. Although it's not deep there are a couple small sections that run fast.”

“Hey, this is a pretty nice park. It's right on the east branch of the Brandywine River so there's lots of stuff going on. people come here just to hang out and watch the water go by, some people come here to drop in their canoes or take out their canoes from a ride down the river. Also, some people come here to just have a cookout lay out on the blankets with her family or the dog, some people go in the river and swim. It's just a nice relaxing place to hang out if you're looking for some quiet and some nice surroundings.”
