“The trail is privately owned land and leased by the township. Rules are clearly posted. Please note, ALL dogs must be leashed or the police will issue a ticket. Cooperation from the community will continue to make the use of this trail possible. At any time the lease on the trail does not have to be renewed so please follow the posted rules when walking the trail. Thanks”

“Love the trails here! There are so many miles to explore. Includes the Brandywine Creek, with easy access for your dog and/or Kayak. It's just a beautiful area! They used to allow dogs off leash, as long as they were controlled. We miss that!!”

“This park is great for younger children as it has a playground designed for younger kids. It has a small picnic pavillion and one barbecue. A bridge crosses a small stream to an old-fashion geodesic climbing dome and a field that is fenced in. There is parallel parking including one handicapped parking space.”

The East Bradford Park has lots to offer including playgrouds, swings, sandbox, bathrooms, picnic pavillion, trail, volleyball court, tennis courts, baseball and soccer field.”

“I'm not sure why it says Parks and Recreation, because I went to the West Whiteland Township Building. I know this is going to be way exciting for a lot of you out there reading this, but I went to the township building to pay my sewer bill. I have to say it was almost an adventure. The Thrills, the Chills, the Fanger, the Intrigue, it was almost too much to handle. My circulatory system was flooded with adrenaline as the excitement was almost too much to handle. Part of the excitement, is the knowledge that the West Whiteland Township police station is in the lower level of this building. So, I was getting away with all this excitement and intrigue knowing that at anytime the Police could just burst in and pop my bubble. So, after completing the transaction and handing over my check to the woman behind the sliding glass window, I dashed out of there almost with the need for Eyes in the back of my head, and made it to my car unscathed. I started my car, and I got out of there like a bat out of hell. Once I had made it a few miles away from the township building, I knew the adventure had ended. I was now back to being a normal human being, and doing normal things. So folks, that is it for today. Stay tuned until next time, when another exciting Adventure surely awaits.!!! Please keep this to yourself, but the next adventure might actually involve the word "Supermarket", so stay on the edge of your seats people, you may need to run at a moment's notice..!!”

“Very nice Veterans Memorial located in front of the Uwchland Township campus and is along the Uwchland Trail. The Memorial has five pillars representing branches of the U S Armed Forces. The U.S. and POW flags are lit and fly day and night. They have a secure box to drop off old flags for proper disposal. The planned additions include a statue of the Revolutionary War Minute Man soldier and more commemorative brick pavers. Hopefully they will also add some shade trees behind the Memorial.”

“This jewel of a park his very well maintained. This park is very accessible: it has many handicap parking spaces and the trail is paved with offshoots that go to the ball fields and the picnic pavillion. This is park has two playground sets: one for younger children and one for ages 5 plus. and swings It has a softball field and a 90 foot baseball field. It has a paved walking trail that is just over half a mile long with lots of benches along the way. There is a wide variety of plants including a butterfly garden and even the parking lots have great plantings. There are bathrooms and tons of parking. If you want to bird watch go the western edge of the park where a fence protects the wetland area. There is a small picnic pavilion and a lots of open space between the upper parking lot and the baseball field. The old house on the property is available for reservation and is located right near the playground. The only negative about the park are the two dead trees on the hill between the upper parking lot and the 90 foot baseball field should be removed for safety.”

“Nice little passive park. It has picnic tables that overlook three small pond with two wooden bridges. Signs warn that the ponds have snapping turtles.”

“This park is very nice and could be outstanding if a walking path and handicap access extended beyond the upper parking lot to the picnic pavilion. The lower part of the park along Ashbridge Street has a very large baseball field that is well maintained with bleachers and two picnic tables. In the upper part along Hoopes Lane there is a smaller field with a backstop that would be good for wiffleball and kickball. The park has some play equipment but not a full playground set. It has a weird back to back basketball setup that makes playing a basketball game impossible. In addition to the picnic pavilion there are several picnic tables and barbecues scattered in the upper park. The park has restrooms and lots of open play area. The park has four well maintained tennis courts along Locust Lane. The park is over 16 acres of land and with many great trees throughout the park that would be enhanced by a walking trail for the community to use.”

“Great time with my lil buddy.. nice quite baseball park”

“Nice free dog park. Not much else to say. There are a few obstacles for the dogs to go through and a nice seating area with a roof to stay under when it's too hot or raining. The park itself is usually pretty clean and the only issues I have run into have been other dog owners but that is to be expected at any park like this. Highly reccomend coming here if you live in the area.”

“Nice park, hike down stream about .8 mile follow trail and you'll come across a stone wall used for the canal. FYI, no restroom at this park.”

“Great place to go for a walk, although bikers fly by at break neck speeds, and occasionally you have to watch out for dog poop. Can get a little crowded at peak times, but can also be very peaceful in the winter.”
Address: 300 W Nields St, West Chester, PA 19382, USA
“This park has a large plaground set that has two slides, a bridge and is built to look like a treehouse. The park has a separate small climbing set, two tot swings and four regular swings. The park has a backstop on the corner of Nields and New streets that would be good for whiffle ball or kick ball games. The park has a large open grass area and a bench, and two picnic tsbles. It has a strange basketball setup that make having a game other than HORSE impossible. The garage on the property has a nice mural. NOTE: This park is just west WCU north campus and only has paid parking near the park.”
