“Easy access to the trail and the creek. The info kiosk is in disrepair and lacks a map.”

“Absolutely beautiful views. We have seen quite a few deer. The only problem I have is people pick up there animal waste, put it in the bag then leave it on the ground in plain view. Really.”

“The Darlington Trail follows the outer edge of the southern end of Darlington Valley Open Space. The trail connects on its northern end with the Cornucopia Trail and the Rocky Run Trail on its southern end. There is parking lot on Darlington Road. The Open Space includes a section of the Chester Creek, meadows, forest and farm land. I saw several deer, a groundhog, several rabbits, tons of birds, several different species of butterflies, frogs and toads. The info kiosk at the parking lot is in need of repair and the trail would benefit from trail maintenance. There is a very large tree that has fallen across the trail. Some additional trail markers where the trail crosses Darlington Rosd on the eastern end would be good.”

“Great trails through woods and fields. Nice creek for dog swimming. We often meet off leash dogs here so beware if your leashed dog doesn't want to meet other dogs. Our dogs are leashed and don't always care to have random dogs run up so it can be a bit annoying. It's very seldom crowded so we just go when no other cars are in the parking lot and we don't have to deal with the off leash dogs running around Bluebirds come through here in the spring and they are fun to watch!”

“A well planned and well maintained arboretum. Most areas are accessible to all > including some of the tree houses. Great for an afternoon or the day. Lots of interesting fun stuff for kids and grownups. One of favorites is the cluster of hammocks. (Can't have too many.) Go and refresh yourself.”

“I go here all the time. I love nature and exploring and I see something new everytime. It's a little busy but there are plenty of spots to verge off the mail trail. Absolutely beautiful place.”
