The Great Cross of Christ

Address: 887 Sr2021, Hopwood, PA 15445, USA

Park

“The cross is Great! You have to walk a long ways up hill to see it and it is on private property. There was a gate across the road so we didn't go all the way up the hill. But it is very impressive and there is a beautiful view overlooking a city, I'm just not sure which city. There is parking available and no cost. It is also close to a battlefield which we didn't have time to check out, but it's something to make note of when visiting the area.”

Ferncliff Peninsula Natural Area

Address: Sr2010, Dunbar, PA 15431, USA

Park

“Absolutely in love with this area!!!!! It is so beautiful and peaceful. The trail is amazing because it can be busy but you still feel like you have the earth all to yourself.”

Western Pennsylvania National Wild Animal Orphanage

Address: 169 Shepard Ln, Uniontown, PA 15401, USA

Park

“Pretty fun, my mom's house is there.”

Jonathan Falls Trailhead

Address: Dunbar, PA 15431, USA

Park

“Best trail in all of ohiopyle in my opinion. Littered with waterfalls. As others have said, just be careful the beginning of the trail is a little muddy. But the path is clear and I would consider it an easy difficulty. If you go as fast as you can i would say it would take 2-3 hours down and back. You're gonna want to plan for 4-5 hours with all the pictures you're gonna want to take”
