Pennsylvania Welcome Center I-79 North Mount Morris

Very nice place to stop and stretch. The bathrooms are clean. The visitor center has a lot of information. Picnic tables and pavilions are available. Lots of shaded options as well as uncovered.

Stopped here on our way back from vacation. The rest stop is the nicest one we've been at on our travels. There are clean restrooms, a visitor center, tourist attraction pamphlets, picnic tables, and ample parking.

PDOT was also doing a safety day when we visited. It included a display by the State Troopers on the importance of highway safety, information pamphlets, and coloring pages for kids. The outside had a heartwrenching memorial of the PDOT workers who perished at work. It's a good reminder that the ONLY thing you should be paying attention to on the road is driving. Whatever else can wait.

Nice place...very nice. Overall the whole building was very clean. Clean restrooms, lots of seats inside and outside to sit down and rest. Very pleasant staying

We have Roadtripped every continental state in USA, and this is one of very few Welcome Centres we have entered and gone wow!

This stop is very well maintained, organized, and decorated. Personnel are very friendly, kind, and knowledgeable.

The bathrooms were spacious and clean.

There are sitting areas and maps/mini museum type areas!

Also a TV with road condition and news updates.

In daytime, this is a great rest area with free wifi and I can absolutely appreciate that overnight parking is permitted here. That said, it's down from the highway into the lot so you have trucks using their engine brakes. That makes it super loud and you will not get a good night's sleep here.

Restrooms are clean and definitely check out the Miner's Monument that commemorates an event that took place 460 feet below where you're standing.
