Lackawanna River Heritage Trailhead

There building another heritage trail near the Lumber Yard. I’m really looking forward to walking on the trail.

This is a great place to gather with family and friends! Take a hike through Nature's finest, or ride a bike on the gravel path. Watch wildlife live their everyday lives, take pictures of the flowers, Autumn days and of course the beautiful Lackawanna River!

I'm here quite often with my son, as well love to hike on the trail from start to finish. This trail is long but its worth taking to take in all the sights and sounds. And soon, the family area will be here, where kids can play on the newly built playground, adults can enjoy the peacefulness of the new zen garden and there's so much more coming!

Hike, fish, jog ect...????

It's amazing. Nice place to walk or bike ride. It has river access but 0 to none seating on trail most parts are shady but there is some very open spots.

While the page and scenery are beautiful I'm fishing and real shallow water makes it tough to find pools deep enough to hold fish but manage to catch a few
