  Pros: The room was nice. It was very clean, all of the linens smelled fresh and clean, and the blankets and pillows smelled good. There was air conditioning which was a blessing over memorial day. As a single female I appreciated that there was a dead bolt on the door that could only be accessed from the inside. I could not hear the other tenants when they were in their rooms. The price was good, what they list on their website includes taxes and fees (unlike the chain hotels).
  Cons: There was only on street parking available. Since I arrived later than the other guests I had to park far away so I couldn't see my car. There were no free electric outlets in the room, I had to charge my phone in the bathroom. When the guests entered the kitchen in the morning I could hear their activity. When I went to check out in the morning I had to walk to the owners house next door to pay them since they weren't on premises. The breakfast was sparse.
  Other: the owners (innkeepers?) were interesting. Friendly and helpful, but like many older people like to give to many details about their health I would have rather not known. When I first arrived the gentleman told me about some of his other guests and he freely voiced his thoughts on then without bothering to censor it with political correctness. It disnt bother me (he reminded me of my grandfather) but it might offend some people. They didn't take credit cards, I mailed them a $25 check a couple of weeks in advance and the morning I checked out I gave them a check for the rest. I easily could have just left in the morning without paying since they werent there to see (I did pay them obviously).
  All in all a mostly good place to sleep for the night, a good alternative if you don't like chain hotels or if the chain hotels are all full.

  Members of my dance school stayed here for Nationals this weeked. We had a wonderful stay. The owners Mr and Mrs McKennon made us feel welcomed. Their hospitality was unsurpassed. The rooms are clean. I would recommend anyone to stay here.

  Carter Run Inn was a delightful private stop in Lititz! We had the first floor suite with a lovely sitting room and roomy bath. The private entrance to the kitchen from our room made it possible to make a cup tea in the late evening. Breakfast was a splendid continental spread with fresh fruit salad each day.
  The owners were personable and friendly and available but allowed us to also maintain our privacy!
