“It's hard to tell through a website page just how great a preschool could be for your child, when you haven't experienced it first-hand. If you're looking for a wonderful learning environment for your little one, please visit this little hidden gem for yourself! It's located on a back road in Elizabethtown, so it may not be as well known as all of the other preschools. For two years, my kiddo attended a well-known preschool when she was 3 and 4 years old. With 15 kids per class, that school focused mostly on open play and socialization (at least that's what it felt like). I yearned to find an environment where the emphasis was more on focused learning in a smaller classroom, with less distractions, and more one-on-one attention. I wasn't a fan of the chaos in a large classroom, and had told myself that it must be this way everywhere. When my kiddo needs correction to master certain skills, I felt that need wasn't being met, so I set out to find something else in Elizabethtown. After switching to Bossler Christian Preschool, all of my preschool wishes came true! The teachers genuinely adore each student and spend one-on-one time with them to master the skills in the activity they're doing. When there is open play time, the teachers are on the floor playing and pretending along with them! All of the students learn and play together at the same time, so there is no chaos because the kiddos focus on the same things ALL at once. My child would never sit long to do an educational activity previously, but now she does because that is the standard that is set. Within six short weeks, we noticed a GREAT difference in the things our kiddo was suddenly interested in. She was able to comprehend so many new things that she was exposed to. She started singing different songs, was talking about the different recipes her classroom had prepared, she started showing us sign language, began coloring inside of the lines more often, and started to REALLY CARE about the creative crafts she was bringing home. Her scissor cutting, letter and number recognition, focus, and patience ALL improved within weeks of attending this preschool. I can't say enough about the warm environment Bossler Christian School provides, and how much my kiddo enjoys attending. She gives both of her teachers BIG hugs at the end of the day, and yearns to go to school during breaks. These are the types of things that you can't pick up on from a website or preschool fair, so please visit with your little one and SEE FOR YOURSELF!”
