“Always an amazing time at Starlite! The staff is friendly and helpful. The sites and bathroom are well maintained. The ice cream they serve at the general store is delicious and a real treat after a hot day. Went on the hayride and got see most of the property. Generally we camp in the fall but I convinced my colder weather loving boyfriend to go camping MDW with the incentive that there would be a pool for him to cool off in and it did not disappoint! The water was a little cool for me but perfect for him and the waters cold temperatures certainly didn't keep the kids out. Bingo was a lot of fun but make sure you get there early. We underestimated the appeal of Bingo so it was all eyes on us as we bought or bingo boards and took our seats. Highly recommended for tent campers.”

“The staff was very nice and catered to our needs. My family and I did 5 zip lines and 9 obstacles, challenging but very fun! Our guides Logan, Daniel were very nice and explained everything thoroughly. I had a great time and definitely recommend this for a family or small school trip!”

“Chestnut Grove is one of my favorite places to view wildlife in Lancaster. Pictures don't do it justice. This nature preserve is a hidden gem and very representative of the beauty of this county. Acres of lush vegetation, wildflowers, birds, fox, deer and all meeting the susquehanna river.”

“Craving a beautiful day outdoors by the water but don't want to hike? This is The place to go. It may not have the height nor eagles of Pinnacle however the heron, geese and ducks assure you feel no lack. Both pavilions has full party gatherings yet I was still able to use the swings which, as a big kid, was my goal.”

“Great place to shop if you enjoy family owned department stores. They have hard to find items, like Kitchen Aid supplies and canning supplies. This store is smaller than some of the others. They also have a web site.”

“Came here to play a round of disc golf. Great short game course. The baskets are a little small so putting is challenging, but we only had about an hour to spare and were able to do the whole course. Great experience. Definitely recommend it for learning control.”

“Not a bad park, I rate by how much fun the kiddos have. The general scene is a bit dated (light posts, deteriorated wood deck, poor drainage of grounds), but overall a wide open space good for taking a walk or playing with dogs. The equipment is fun and keeps kids entertained and exercised.”

“A brought a friend here who's come from North Carolina. Very pretty park. I remember playing here all the time as a child. I'm glad it's still here and I hope it stays.”

“Nice paved, scenic walking trail partly along the Conestoga River, along a farmer's back yard & through a small forest of trees. Benches for sitting, playground for the kids, lots of paved parking. Kept neat and clean. With a lot of rain, some of the walking trail gets flooded with mud, so maybe some better drainage or elevate the trail a little.”

“Always a pleasure to just get away from the City and enjoy nature for what it was intended for. Nice scenic trails for photoshoots. The trial ends by the Red Covered Bridge, which is another nice place to take pictures. The sound of the Creek's water. The birds whistling or singing to attract a mate. It's different point of view for different seasons as well. Spring/Summer give you more sounds of nature as Fall/Winter give you a much quieter experience and it's mostly the water passing on by.”

“A nice quiet park with well marked trails. Not the best parking lot”
