My son said he was in heaven when he ate the Mac n' cheese pizza and the perfectly cooked brownies. Bathrooms were so clean! So was the rest of the place. The arcade was a bit with the kids. “My husband and I were visiting the area and wanted a diner style place to eat breakfast. We spotted Joni's and were not disappointed! I literally laughed out loud when my pancake came. It was the size of a large pizza! (Unless you are a big eater don't get the stack) We went back for dinner and ordered corned beef, potatoes and cabbage. It was delicious. It came with dessert which we had to take to go because we were so full. The chef came and spoke with us on both visits, as well as the owner. Very nice people. A great experience and we will be back when we come to Lancaster again.”

“The food at this restaurant was absolutely delicious. It reminded me of the food my mom cooked during my boyhood. The dining was family style, which we didn't mind at all. There were homemade fried chicken, roast beef, buttered noodles, green beans, real mashed potatoes with gravy, corn, shew fly pie, strawberry pie, homemade chocolate ice cream and homemade vanilla ice cream. There were many other items, but I can't remember what. The service was wonderful. If we ran out of an item, the waitress was very quick to get refilled bowls. The restaurant was very clean; the restroom was also. There is also a very nice gift shop located inside the restaurant. When I return to Lancaster County. Pennsylvania, I will return to this restaurant. Thanks for a delicious meal and for the superb service.”

“No one ever walks out of a Waffle House with great exclamations of how clean it is, but you do leave having experienced a waffle phenomenon. The combination of whatever magic goes into those waffles plus whatever sugar magic goes into that syrup is a breakfast/lunch/dinner game-changer! At this Waffle House, the staff is always friendly, the food is always fast, and the waffles are always life-changing. I used to come here with my recent ex-husband (we had irreconcilable differences over breakfast wait times) and we always had a great time. Maybe if we didn't stray from delicious and easy places like Waffle House, we'd still be together. Anyway, hey boys what's up.”

“Went for lunch/dinner for Mother's Day. Thank God they have call ahead seating. Our wait was two hours! That is what we figured it would be so we planned accordingly. We arrived at our set time and only had to wait a few minutes for our seats. Morgan was our waitress and she was great! They were very busy, but the service and food was great. They were well prepared for a busy day. Will be sure to go again.”
