“Caruso's was the first pizza place we went to when we moved to the area in 2007. It's still the go-to place. Crust is the right thickness, sauce/cheese ratio is on point, and Alex always takes good care of us. We don't eat in all that often, but when we do, the service is usually pretty good. The takeout is easy to order and it doesn't get messed up. The overall product is so much better than Metro Express it's not funny. Not to mention it's far superior to the national chains and you have the added bonus of supporting a truly local business.”

“Locals bar. The crowd knows each other---they are friends, buddies, co-workers, girlfriends, relatives, cousins, and in-laws. They come here to eat, enjoy some drinks, and socialize. The bartenders are good, real good...they make good drinks. Maybe not the first place you want to go to. Nothing negative, but in the evening hours, you are going have to wait for a place to hang. You are gonna wait for a drink. Forget much else. Like I said.........this is a locals bar. I live nearby, go there a lot, so it's good. The bartender knows what I drink. Everybody tips the bartenders and servers outrageously well. Exclusive RICK PRO TIP!! If it is crowded; it is sometimes empty, but, if it is crowded, and you like the joint, and plan to stay for a while, then when you get your first drink, press a $10 or $20 spot in your bartender's hand. So when I go to Five Guys it is a nice treat and I didn't have any problems with the stuff at this particular location and they had their free peanuts out to eat while waiting.”

“Cafe East has been one of my favorite places for Asian style food in the area for a very long time. I always enjoy dishes from Cafe East more than the other Chinese food places anywhere nearby. The food is always hot and freshly prepared, the sushi is excellent, and the specials on the menu have some of my favorite dishes of Asian cuisine in Lancaster. The atmosphere is usually quiet, the lighting is slightly dim but I find it adds rather than subtracts from the atmosphere. It's a good date spot. They do takeout as well and have a selection of drinks for takeout that includes ramune. I highly recommend this restaurant and I go back whenever I'm in the area.”

“The menu is simple, and the restaurant is simple as well...simple with homemade fare and very very good. The prices are extremely reasonable, and you get a lot of grub for your money. This is home cooking at its finest. Try the baked oatmeal with frozen yogurt, as it is like eating cake and ice cream for breakfast with seasonal berries. Also excellent is the French toast. The skillet meals are wonderful, with eggs, home fries, toast, and meat of your choice. Basically, this is in my top three favorite places for breakfast.”

The most flavorless pizza slice ever. The chicken subs are those nasty chipped chicken instead of cut or pulled which sucks. Go to another town and it'll be made better. The hot sauce is that hot but no flavor kind of sauce”
