“Both of our pups have stayed here several times. We wouldn't trust them with anyone else! It's so great to be able to go away and be able to relax, knowing that your fur babies are under exceptional care! Jen and Joe go above and beyond to take care of our girls and treat them just like one of their own family. The love they have for all dogs is so clearly evident. We know our pups have so much fun during their "vacation" too, they never want to leave! Hands down THE BEST place to leave your pets worry-free!”

“Great place for fall fun! Family friendly hayrides, pumpkin picking, all of the fall activities can be enjoyed at Cheeseman Farm. Pumpkins picked at the patch are reasonably priced 50cents/lb. A variety of food is available, including pizza, popcorn, and funnel cake. Credit cards accepted with a small processing fee. The farm transforms to Cheeseman Fright Farm in the night. Haunted hayrides and attractions. Open Friday evenings, Saturdays, and Sundays”

“We had a four year olds birthday party. It was great for the kids and the pavilion gave us adults a place to hang out out of the sun. The kids loved the playground and the swings.”

“Went there with a friend. We enjoyed sitting at the picnic tables to talk before and after walking the trail, which is well maintained and has exercises periodically for to do for extra fitness. Other people on the trail were friendly and one lady was nice to us in the right direction since it has been years since I walked and they added a short cut. I wanted the original trail and she was nice enough to point in the direction. A beautiful day to a nice leisurely walk with a friend through the woods and chat. Very peaceful and calm. I definitely got to start coming back more often, forgot how much better I feel after I walk through the trail here. 🙂”

“Great paved walking trail with a small parking area. The dogs loved being able to explore and walk near the creak. I even found a large piece of slate near one of the rock faces. Lovely spot to admire the autumn colors”

“Visit Cascade Park to see the remnants of the amusement park that used to be here. I read the history of the park before going, and it was so interesting to see that some of the original buildings are still standing. The old carousel building, the old pool house, and the remnants of the roller coaster were great to see. The website mentions that there are plaques throughout the park, however I only saw one on the carousel building. There is a very short walking trail, and a small waterfall here as well. I love visiting places that still have a link to the past, and this park does just that. Thank you New Castle for keeping this gem in great condition.”

“Get the getaway feel without going to far out of the way (bout an hour from south hills). My family and I stayed in their deluxe cabin which was charmingly rustic and suited all our needs (nice shower). Neat little trail to a peaceful creek a stones throw away. Plenty of nature, nice sunsets above corn fields. Watch out for the volleyball sand pit, made a painful mistake of playing barefoot and blew my foot out on a rock.”

“Quick getaway from Pittsburgh, serene vibes 😇 This State Park is fun to explore both on trails as well as driving through. There are a lot of spots by the waterfalls and large rocks around to sit and chill by the creek. I particularly liked the covered bridge. Depending on the weather and rains of course, the trails may be slippery. Definitely worth visiting!”
