Pleasant people and great food. The beds (2xqueen and private bath) are surprisingly comfortable. Two notes: T-Mobile voice service here is terrible. Texting works though. Verizon works, ATT is iffy. Second note: respect “Private Property” signs on neighboring properties. There are signs showing people will shoot to kill to protect their land. I’m very serious. Stay on campus.
Our Church has been holding our annual Men's Retreat here for about 15 years. The facilities are first rate and the food is excellent. We tried another place for 1 year and everyone was asking to go back to Kenbrook! You guys spoil us!
Kenbrook turned into a home away from home for me when I was 7, so it has been over 25 years since I started coming to Kenbrook as a camper. Since then I have been a summer camp employee, a part time employee, guest and volunteer. Every time I turn onto the gravel road (whether summer or winter) I roll my window down and take a deep breath! The beautiful scenery makes you feel like your miles away from the world when you're a matter of minutes. Kenbrook is a great place to learn more about God, make new friends and relax all at the same time! Kenbook is definitely one of my favorite places to be and I highly recommend visiting for yourself if you haven't yet!
I would describe Kenbrook as one of my personal places of peace. I have made some of the closest friends in my life through being a camper and staffer in this place. For many years I brought my youth group to Kenbrook for our annual Fall Retreat and these youth experienced incredible things through this place.
Kenbrook has one of the most beautiful campuses that I have ever seen, tucked away where you feel secluded but are only minutes from major highways and cities. The staff here are generous and eager to serve everyone who graces the grounds. You'll find great food, plenty of hiking and service that moves beyond customer satisfaction.
This is a place worth checking out!
I love Kenbrook! Not only was I impacted in a meaningful way as a camp counselor for kids summer camp here, but now years later I am continually impacted as I am able to attend different youth, women's and family retreats at Kenbrook on the retreat side. The facilities are beautiful and clean, the food is great and the hosts are welcoming and accommodating. The service and genuine friendliness alone are worth more than gold. You won't be disappointed!
