“Very well maintained shelter, room for 6 or more on the floor plus room for a few hammocks. Raised floor helps keep the critters out. In front there is a log bench and a metal fire ring. No privy. Several nice tent sites nearby as well. Just north of the shelter, maybe 500-700 feet and right on the trail is a piped spring with a small metal basin. Just to the south, maybe 1/4 mile is a side trail called North View that takes you past a small vista.”
