“This is a Hidden Gem hiding in plain sight! I was not at the Avenue Diner for over 10 years, my recent visit I was pleasantly surprised. Not only was there remodeling done, but they also revamped their menu as well. There are a lot of daily specials as well as new food items, the back room has been added for parties catering & overflow from the front of the diner & the food is incredible. Some people consider it a tad pricey, but the food is unbelievable as well as the service & the portions, which are two of the most important things. You get your money's worth and then some. The exterior and interior of the restaurant are impeccably clean, the staff are very friendly and attentive but most importantly they give you privacy. They don't hover over you or make you feel like they're trying to push you out, it's a very relaxing experience. See for yourself, enjoy a leisurely breakfast or a late evening snack but go and enjoy yourself!”
