“I’m not sure about the other reviews, but We had 2 great meals here. For dinner we had 2 delicious apps and I had the Crab cake sliders on special, delicious. My wife had a cheddar provolone grilled cheese with soup and was more than happy. The next morning we went for breakfast and both of our meals were delicious. Both visits the staff were courteous, attentive and extremely friendly. I was very happy we stopped!”

“This was unusual for me because it's rare to get to be the first to leave a review. This is a newly opened restaurant after a major fire under new ownership. So four things: 1. The food was very good. I had the duck with an orange glaze. I thought it could have used a touch more seasoning. I had a side of broccoli - I would have liked to have some melted cheddar cheese. Overall I was satisfied. 2. The service was outstanding. My server was Whitney. She was very knowledgeable, friendly, & attentive. 3. Facilities - the restaurant felt new, fresh, and clean. I definitely recommend this restaurant. 4. The prices were moderate. Not the most expensive but more than your typical chain restaurant.”

“I haven't been here since 1993. I'm so happy and relieved this place is still here. Family road trips to visit my uncles on Avondale Hill in the 70's & 80's my parents would stop here to eat. “AWESOME.....SIMPLY AWESOME MEAL! I am not from the area but came up to Wilkes barre township from Philadelphia to spend time with my daughter. The parking lot was full at 430 pm. We went inside and I fully expected a long wait but we were seated in under 5 minutes. Our server, Alyssa, was wonderful. Our drinks were brought out late, but that was the only downside I have about the experience. Food was hot, fresh ...steak was phenomenal, cooked to perfection. Green beans were seasoned with bacon crumbles. Loaded baked potato....I even ate the salted , buttered skin. My daughter's selection was equally delicious. Drinks were replenished without asking. Staff interacted as a well oiled machine, smiling , laughing, helping each other . WE WILL BE BACK SOON! Carole Belfiglio”

“Looked fairly clean when I stopped in and the staff was very friendly and knowledgeable. they do have a public bathroom, which was the main impetus for my stop here. My only complaint would be, while the majority of the parking lot is flat, if you end up in one of those spots on the hill it's not too comfortable getting in and out of your vehicle. But this is a no way a detriment to the restaurant itself, just the guy who decided to build a town on the side of a mountain.”

We ordered 2 kids meals for our 3 kids as one is 2, and they gave her the same toy her 2 brothers got. They made what is sometimes a stressful time, feeding 3 kids, a somewhat enjoyable experience!
