(October 23, 2018, 3:35 pm)Thank you for the wonderful cake that you made for the Mink Pond 100th Anniversary. We had 120 guests and the cake was the hit of the evening. The cake and icing were fantastic and the decoration was beautiful. Thanks again and I will look forward to enjoying one of your cakes at the next special occasion.
(August 2, 2018, 10:00 pm)Merry's cakes are DELICIOUS!!! Her chocolate flavors are probably my favorite-moist and rich- however everything she makes is fabulous. Merry did an incredible job with our wedding cake and groom's cake. Firstly she custom made an engine cake for my husband who is studying to be a race car machinist. This cake was awesome- she put thoughtful details into the design of the cake, and when you bit into it the flavors were amazing. She knows how to create wonderful flavors in all of her cakes that taste truly homemade and satisfying. For the wedding cake we had a three tier cake with a simple design that looked lovely. The red velvet layer in the cake was phenomenal, as were the other two (pink champagne and vanilla), but the red velvet was probably my favorite. I'm not sure why she has some negative reviews, as my experience with her was superb. I was a bride who just walked into her shop and she was easy to work with from day one. She was responsive, easy to talk to, and helped me with the entire process. I would absolutely get another cake from Merry's cakes and I hope others do the same- don't let some negative reviews by people who are clearly obscenely picky taint your impression of Merry's cakes. This woman is talented, professional, and extremely good at what she does. Don't miss out on her delicious creations! (Oh and she's pretty affordable too- would HIGHLY recommend!)
