“This is a very nice park- one of my favorite spots in the metro area. Rolling Hill is small, but there's a lot of variety in the landscape. Beautiful scenery year round and a good place for a trail run. We will definitely be back.”

“This small, 25 acre, preserve in located in the heart of the Main Line is has a few miles of hiking trails. Nearest the parking are is an open meadow which is surrounded by woodlands. Off the northern corner of the preserve the trail crosses a creek and connects to another trail that runs along the creek until it reaches Conshohocken State Road (be very careful crossing as the cars come crazy fast around the corner). Across the road the trail continues as part of Henry Lane Park. Within the preserve there are several trails some that go by the new saplings plantings, some through more established tree plantings, older forest and along a creek that flows into the Schuylkill River and some through the meadow. There scattered about the meadow are benches and bird houses. On the eastern part of the preserve is a 19th century barn and spring house. It looks like the preserve is working hard on reducing invasive vines and other invasive plants. The main thing this preserve could improve is adding trail markers (could be as simple as those they have at Natural Lands Mariton, ChesLen, Stroud or Sadsbury Woods).”

“Henry Lane Park is a 22 acre natural park that provides trails for hiking and horseback riding. The park connects by an unnamed trail to the trails in Natural Lands Trust Saunder's Woods. Part of the trail that shows up on Google and appears to connect to Ashburn Field is cut off by a gate to the entrance of the Henry Botanical Garden. The trail off the northeast corner of the park connects to the Bridlewild Trail to the Kenealy Nature Park.”

“Really nice hike that is very well hidden in Gladwynne. And it is a hike, too, so make sure you are ready to duck under trees and climb rocks over the stream, as well as a lot of up and down over tree roots. A lot like a Pocono hike.”
