The store is huge and located near the busy shopping and restaurant areas in White Marsh. I appreciate the cool and relaxed European vibes that every IKEA store exudes. The food is fantastic and fairly priced, and the employees seem to be genuinely happy, even at the customer service desk! Check out the as-is section for discounted floor model and returned furniture before you leave. If you're a first-timer then you should also try the Swedish meatballs, mashed potatoes, veggies, and lingonberry sauce! The candy, cinnamon buns, soft serve, and hot dogs at the end are bonuses! I love IKEA!”

“I had the opportunity to buy my first car at John Kennedy Mazda. When I walked in on a Saturday to come test a couple vehicles, it was very crowded and the staff was busy tending to other customers. Even though it was crowded, Cheryl, Mark, and Pat continued to stop over and apologize for the wait. They were very hospitable and asked if there was anything to get me while I waited. I appreciated this attitude or serving all customers on a personal basis instead of focusing on one deal. After the wait, they really got to know my vehicle needs and also financial needs. Pat and Mark are pros in the regard that they take the time to understand the customer and their financial situation instead of pushy selling at other dealerships. I ended up purchasing a vehicle from John Kennedy Mazda. Pat took the time to go over paperwork and even was willing to go out of his way to make sure i understood all details with owning the vehicle (warranty, insurance questions). When I came back to pick up the car, the gas tank was full and the car was cleaned once again (it was already prepared great at original point of sale). Those little things go a long way and I am glad that some dealerships are selling cars right... and this is one of them.”

“I recently joined CF Thermal after having moved back into the Philly area. They offer the most evening classes out of any local CF gym and have great programming as well. The coaches are very friendly, understanding of personal limitations, and push you in the right direction when you need that extra ummph to get through the workout. Vinny, the owner, is a down-to-earth guy who not only has your best interest in mind, but makes sure you are getting the most of your membership. He regularly schedules Technique Sessions (barbell club, muscle up clinics, etc.) throughout the month free to all members. Also, if you have a question regarding any type of lift, movement, or ways to improve, Vinny can provide quick, understandable coaching almost any time. The members are very friendly and inviting. Before and after most workouts, members are hanging out. And its not "CF 24/7" conversations. They talk about sports, kids, work, and everything else, which was a great bonus for me. Also, members are willing to work with everyone regardless of their skill level. For example, I might not be able to go Rx on each lift just yet, and that did not stop me from doing a 3-man Team WOD with two of the stronger members without fear of being put down or made fun of that I couldn't go Rx. All in all, I am very happy about joining CF Thermal. I look forward to going to the gym each day.”

PRO: Huge space for kids to play with basically no "rules", stroller friendly, cheap admission (you can't beat 6 dollars for kids/ 1 dollar for adults), free snacks and drinks for kids (and parents), So many toys!!!! CON: Parking is limited so you gotta arrive right when they open.”
