I’ve enjoyed classes during many different life stages- cross training for a marathon, pre and post natal, and as part of a healthy lifestyle. I especially enjoyed attending while I was pregnant because the instructors were so great about keeping me safely active to my best ability, which was something that did not compare anywhere else. My baby is now almost one year old and smiles whenever he hears Tricia or Kim. I love the donation based model because it is so easy to invite a friend to practice. “This review is on the grounds of Bryn Mawr rather than the academics or admissions requirements. Bryn Mawr College has a lovely campus for walking, running, or otherwise quiet, relaxing exploits. There is plenty of shade on this bucolic campus which is located along Philadelphia’s upscale “Main Line.” There is an abundance of gothic architecture on the campus, inspired by the gothic style buildings of Oxford and Cambridge. The campus has a few hilly areas, particularly around the sports fields, but otherwise mainly flat. One of the things I found remarkable about this campus is the flowers and blooming plants are in such beautiful condition (in August!). Unlike other campuses, even renowned gardens in the area, the flowers are not dead - they are gorgeous and obviously well cared for. This little gem is a perfect place to enjoy the peaceful outdoors.”

“Not all heroes wear capes, but they should so you can tell when you are about to be saved. I have seen over a dozen therapists, psychiatrists, and psychologists since I was 6, been prescribed over 30 different combinations of medication, and always ended back up at square one or regressed even further. In fact, it’s been nothing but frustration and trust issues within me and for my family. Everyone has tragedy in their life, so I won’t go into detail about mine. PTSD, bi-polar, drug addiction, fear of inferiority, we all face some form of mental health issues. It’s what you do about them and how you face them. Don’t give up, is what I kept telling myself and what my wife and family wished of me. At the age of 38, after a visit to a mental health ward, a bad combination of prescription drugs and self-medicating, my hero emerged from the shadows. Her humble opinion of her work is why I said, “heroes should wear capes”. Piece by piece, over the course of almost two years, my hero therapist, who I call “Doc”, was able to relate to me on a level no human ever has, and knew how to approach each layer of my mental health as layers were peeled back, week by week. Maybe it’s her experience in Human Resources, or that she can read people as soon as they enter the room, or maybe she actually has magic powers. It’s not easy peeling the layers back with mental illness and exposing the real problems. In fact, it’s scary as hell. Kathy’s different approach to therapy with real world scenarios and closing the gap with psychiatry jargon and our language, is what sets her apart. At one point in my therapy, she suggested I see a different therapist as part of the process using EMDR. “Black Magic”, is what I thought of it after her explanation and some YouTube videos. Nevertheless, I continued forward with her suggestion as she seemed to have the “magic” already. Turned out to be the jump forward in progress I needed. After 6 sessions of EMDR and my dedication to the process, I was back with Kathy and ready to move forward. They always say having a support system makes the process easier, and my wife the superstar she is, put up with a lot over the years and even more during the unveiling of my new life. Kathy has become part of my family with how often we all reference her. Mental health issues are never “fixed”, but with continued sessions and progress, I have finally started my life. I turn 40 in a month, and I am finally able to start my life. Thank you for saving my life...”

“Both of my parents have worn hearing aids for years without much satisfaction. For years they used what I consider to be defective products from other companies. In fact, some of the audiologists actually told me many times that I should give up trying to make my parens hear better. They claimed that my father had already reached the maximum hearing level that he would ever attain. That was my discouragement until I met Dan Libby. I am delighted to say that Dan immediately "took the bull by the horns" and told us that he was determined to make my father hear better. I was impressed how he carefully and accurately analyzed each aspect of my father's hearing disability. He had excellent skills in using the equipment, and was able to adjust the quality as well as the the loudness of the sound above all that we expected. I would like to comment on the fact that Dan was very patient in dealing with my elderly parents who speak no English, but only Korean. But he was more than just "patient." He was professional, compassionate, personable, especially as I had to translate for them, a process that took twice the amount of his time since everything had to be said twice in this communication process, but Dan never expressed frustration of any kind.
