“It was chilly and rainy yesterday which put my daughter and I in a mood for some soup. Limerick Diner is under new ownership so we decided to stop by for a bite. We ordered French onion soup, which is my favorite, and gravy fries, which are my daughter's favorite! The wait staff was very nice and we got exactly what we ordered. The French onion soup was absolutely delicious and the gravy fries were so good! You get your choice of what kind of gravy you want too, brown or chicken flavored. When it came time for dessert, our waitress suggested that we take a look at all the desserts in the dessert case in the front of the diner, so we did... Oh my goodness! There are so many yummy desserts to choose from: cakes, pies, cookies, sticky buns, danish, cannolis, etc. Geesh! They all looked so tempting, we couldn't decide so we picked out 3 different desserts to share! One to eat there and the others to take home. The cashier was very nice and told us that her daughter was the manager and that they even have a baker on site! That they bake the desserts right there so they are always fresh and delicious! The diner and bathrooms were clean and there is plenty of parking.”

“I was here at noon on August 2 with my 10-year-old son. The staff was very patient with him while he decided what he wanted (he had never been to KFC before). A younger man with a beard and a cap on, and a woman with auburn hair, were especially kind and friendly. The food came out quickly and was very good. We both ordered crispy chicken, and the breading was crispy while the chicken retained enough moisture. The restaurant was clean, and the napkins and utensils were well stocked. My son loved the food and the people so much that he is looking forward to coming again soon. and he’s a picky eater to begin with! Big thank you to this KFC location.”

“I had a top floor king room over the restaurant. I was there for a luncheon event the next day. The private lunch in the restaurant was top notch, delicious food, beautiful presentation and fastidious service. The room was also impeccable well-appointed and clean. There was an unfortunate odor in the common area and the stairwell that indicated to me animals had been present and had urinated into the carpet. That's what it smelled like to me. Fortunately did not carry into the restaurant nor into my room. But the common area carpet is well worn, needs a cleaning probably needs total replacement.”

It was the first time we had used the dock, and while it was a little small, I love the fact we were able to do destination kayaking with stopping here for food before continuing on our way. “The food is always good here, although they used to make a jambalaya that was really great. They took it off the menu. I used to go to the one on Roosevelt Boulevard, and then I tried the one in Willow Grove. This was my first time going to the one in Plymouth Meeting and the food didn't disappoint there. “4.8 is the right number. Not quite sure if they were sweet on me cuz this is my first time and I let them know that 😉.I noticed varying reviews on portion size and aesthetics of the sandwich. Basically, it's a 24-in roll cut in half and then they cut that portion in two. So you'll have a pointed end of a roll & 3 blunt ends with a lot of filling coming out of it (which is good and bad at the same time). I ordered the Sanatoga steak which features smoked Cooper and onions. I added long hots. I like peppers & think the long hots kind of drowned out the smoked Cooper. I'm not sure there is a difference at two bucks but I'd have to taste it w/o the long hits to know for sure. Would love to hear any other opinions on the subject. They use a sesame seeded crusty roll sort of what John's Roast Pork, Primos and Angelo's use. Yes I'm aware that Angelo's bakes their bread I think it might be Sarcones or Liscios. The steak was generously portioned and had a nice weight to it. I cannot complain about the cheese whatsoever. As matter of fact, if this is their standard amount of gooey smoked Cooper, the amount would damn near be considered extra cheese most everywhere else. Unless you're a cheese fanatic I would not order extra cheese. Please note, it's my first time and I don't have any baseline. They were out of potatoes and they were unable to make fries. No big deal as I came for the steak and it was worth a trip. I don't feel the need to go to Philly as often unless its after 7pm when they close for the day) Shout out to the legendary Capone for recommending this jawn. Give them a shot, I'm glad I did”

“This place is awesome. The meat just doesn't stop. Once you finish your salad bar plate and turn your cards be ready for the avalanche of food. Don't overdo the salad bar because you'll want to save room for some great cuts. The smoked salmon from the salad bar is really good. I also liked the ribs and macaroni. You also get appetizers on your table. The fried bananas were great but they got cold pretty fast so that was a bit of a bummer. Out of all the main courses, the salmon with the sauce and the filet wrapped in bacon had to be my favorite. There was soo much that it was hard to keep track of what I had on my plate. I always asked for rare cuts and it all tasted delicious. Tons of flavor and really juicy. Really can't go wrong on getting anything they're offering.”

“I cannot express how happy I am that there District Taco close to where I live. I used to live in Fairfax, VA. While living there, I had the privilege of going to the original taco truck and the 3 different restaurants. When I moved 8 years ago, I was sad that I wasn't going to be able to get my district taco fix. I went to the one in Abington shopping center and it was nostalgic. Meats and salsas were the same high quality and tasted exactly the same. I only have one complaint, the al pastor was not available...which was always my favorite. Also, there were no Boylan sodas. Hopefully they bring them back (gentle nudge to the owner reading this). Do yourself a favor. Go to district taco. You will not regret it.”
