“There were wild blackberries, strawberries and an assortment of beautiful wild flowers too. There's a stream along the path you can visit and the path is fairly flat with fine gravel. No horses or motor vehicles of any kind are allowed. Distance markers show the trail is approximately 2 miles long. Parking and trail are handicap accessible. Dogs are allowed but must be on a leash (they have a doggy poo cleanup station at the beginning of the trail). Overall and nice safe nature walk for the while family. Don't forget the bug spray and wear hats as there is a tree canopy above you. I'll be back!”

“Roughly 2 mile hike in from Martins Creek Management Area. It would be a lot shorter from the power plant hiking trail entrance, but there is logging going on that has closed some of the trail access. I took the blue trail which was easy hike...pretty flat. I had to go up on the logging trails as loggers had pushed trees and debris over the blue trail. The view from the platform is good directly across and downstream. To scout further up you have to make your way down to the river. Overall fun and easy hike with nice river views.”

“This is a pretty big, secluded lot. Much easier to access this coming down the hill on 248 as it's a near hairpin turn across traffic if you headed up the hill. The short road in is bumpy and not paved, also it is only 1 car wide so keep an eye out for cars coming the other way.”

“This is basically the trailhead for the state park as well. The area is lush and beautiful with plenty of well marked trails. Although THIS trailhead is not an entry for horses or bikes, there are plenty of fun trails to ride your horse or be crazy and ride sown a freaking tree liked downhill on a bike... please wear a helmet.”

“Always a pleasure to hike and bike Jacobsburg! I had the bike out and explored parts of the park I'd never seen that made the ride a bit more interesting! It's not THE most physically demanding or technical mtb trail you'll find in the area but it certainly works in a pinch if you want to cover some distance and have a little fun here and there with some roots and rocks.”
