Evelyn's Beauty Lounge (Dominican Hair Salon)

I went to this salon today based on a Google review. I am very pleased with the result. The woman who did my hair (sadly I didn't ask her name) spoke excellent English and was gentle. If I flinched because the dryer was a little too hot for sensitive areas in my scalp, she would apologize and be more careful not to cause any more discomfort. Once my hair was done, she offered me tips on how to maintain my hair. She even explained that my "frizz" comes from dryness and encouraged me to use a moisturer daily to prevent this. I will definitely be going back.

This was my first time there an everything was great my came out really nice. I was a little hesitant to go back to a Dominican salon because the use of to much heat on my hair but that wasn't a this particular one . I will be back. ????????????????

Based on the reviews I decided to give place a try today and I'm glad I did! I Love my hair and received a lot of compliments!! Theresa gave me a head full of beautiful curls and what I like most was that she did not use high heat in my hair. I've had bad experiences with other salons having the hair dyer and flat iron too hot burning my hair. I didn't give 5 stars because the only complaint I have is they don't use nearly enough conditioner in your hair. Next time I will take my own products because I'm natural and need conditioner throughout my entire head and a leave-in conditioner to make my hair more manageable and hydrated. Overall good experience, you can't beat the price!
